I made a decision last night that I was going to follow the plan 100%. The Beck plan, that is. No short cuts. So that is what I'll be practicing this weekend

I’ll be making my menu for the week and will go grocery shopping. I know the ‘tracking’ part of Beck is coming up and I need to get in a positive spot for that. Tracking is my least favorite Beck task!

I'm reflecting on whether I really want to lose another five pounds. I sure don't act like it so maybe this is really my happy weight now. Maintaining at my current "acceptable" weight is pretty difficult but is doable. But, maybe I need to pretend I'm working on a loss in order to maintain. You can see, I've go some thinking to do.

I had a strong start not drinking at a party last night and will not tonight either. Nor will I order a pastry when the DH and I have a working date at the coffee shop. I got in a short run this morning and have a longer planned tomorrow. Went to WW this morning. Feeling better from a few days back OP.

Said no to many things at the Farmers' Market this morning (gorgeous fruit cobbler bars and seasonal scones and more). Had a realization though that I too often say no to these things and then say, "I was so good so I'll eat all these other things" that most likely add up to more than those things I really wanted would have. I need to work on this.

I spent the day spinning in a local park - lovely breeze off the river in the shade. So I didn’t eat much and I’m going to be very mindful tonight. Tomorrow’s plan is to work around the yard early, run - both in the am, and then hibernate inside when it gets hot.
No extra eating is the plan.
