Good morning- happy Friday and happy March! Yesterday was COLD. I forgot the temp was supposed to drop a lot yesterday before warming up again today (and staying warm for a bit) and definitely did not dress for the weather! I had a mid-weight jacket on and with the wind, it was crazy cold out. But looking forward to temps in the 50s and 60s for the next week.
I'm in the office today and have a call at 1:30 but the rest of the day should be pretty quiet. Yesterday was the same which was nice (albeit a little slow). I'll go to the grocery store on the way home from work, and need to stop at the car dealership to get my permanent license plate and registration (took 2 months!) and then just heading home with no plans this evening. We'll probably watch a movie and either cook or order takeout. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut/colored in the morning and Cam is coming with me for a much needed haircut. He usually goes to a place in Philly, not sure why he hasn't gone there recently, but she can do him while my color is processing. After that I'm meeting some friends for brunch, including the one who had twins recently. Her mom leaves tomorrow so I know she is excited to get out of the house for something social while she still has some extra help with the kids. They've had their parents and her sister and BIL in town for the past month and change to help out so I'm sure it's going to be an adjustment initially having all the kids on their own! At least the 2 oldest are pretty self-sufficient (they're 12 and 14 I think) and can help out with a lot too, and their other daughter is almost 3 so more independent than a 1 or 2 year old. But man, that's a lot of kids and I cannot even imagine! (Then again, I can't even imagine having 1 LOL.)
No plans on Saturday night or Sunday and will be happy to keep it that way. We may go for a long walk on Sunday if the weather is nice and pop into some shops or grab a drink somewhere but no set plans. Looking forward to just relaxing!
A: kickboxing
B: 1/2 everything bagel with cream cheese
S: apple with peanut butter
L: leftover spicy tomato chickpeas and cauliflower with brown rice
S: pineapple, blueberries
D: leftovers (chicken orzo and broccoli) or takeout... could go for sushi or poke maybe!
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Susi, hope everything is going smoothly with your recovery so far!
