Just wondering if everyone who participates (or would like to) in a thread that isn't on the main board (ie Beck or 90 days) but keeps forgetting to go back and check or post to that thread knows about the bookmark option?
To bookmark: When you're in the thread click 'Actions' then select 'Bookmark' from the drop down menu.
The thread will then live in Bookmarks (located between Profile and Messages at the top of the page) so it will be easier to access and you will also get an alert showing up against Bookmarks (the same as you do against Profile when someone likes or quotes one of your posts) when a new post is made.
Sorry if this is already common knowledge but I didn't discover it for quite a while and I've found it really useful for keeping up with threads that aren't on the main board.

Thanks! I'll post a few reminders every once in a while.
So come join the 90 day thread. It started off as an accountability thread and morphed into a morning coffee klatch with occasional mentions of trying to achieve a goal over a 90 day period.

Thanks. I accidentally bookmarked the Thanksgiving recipe thread, but I had no idea how I did it.

Oh my gosh! I knew the bookmark thing, but after reading your post poked at the "Actions" box out of curiosity. There's a "go to next thread" option! My pet peeve about the new board is you can't do that like on the old board. Duh. You can, I just never saw how. I should've known. This new board is perfect. So, thanks gemster!

Thanks for the reminder. I forget about everything that's not in general discussion.

I accidentally bookmarked a thread too. But, then I didn't know how I did it. Now, I can bookmark things I actually want.

concordseeker (or anyone) - Where is this 90 day thread? I often browse/lurk on the Beck or games threads but I don't see the 90 day one. Thanks gemster.

Thanks! This is so helpful while I'm starting the daily journaling thread. It's nice to check back to greet people as they arrive.
ETA And I'm such a chucklehead that I wouldn't remember to do it without the bookmark. Sigh.

gemster - maybe I'm just being blonde today but I'm not sure how that helps on something like Beck that has a new thread everyday. Am I missing something?
I see how it would help in the 90 days but when we were doing Beck it was a separate post each day. Maybe there is one that is a continuing post I don't know about.
Thanks.

Good point that it may less useful for a daily thread like Beck compared to a running thread like 90 days, but you can still bookmark that days' thread if you'd like a reminder to keep checking back regularly or you'd like to be notified when there's a new post. And you can 'unbookmark' threads once they become inactive.
