Good morning everyone! Hope you all are staying warm and keeping your feet dry. It's turning cooler here and tomorrow we expect 29 degrees in the morning. Nothing much going on today. Sometimes I have a week that is just empty of anything interesting. Hope you have an interesting day! Maryenne

Hi all,
Well our power went out last night just before 7 and wasn't restored until about 1:30 this morning. Dinner was already over and cleaned up so we just sat around.
I was able to fix my short sidelight curtain issue yesterday so I just have to get my sewing machine going later and sew the three seams that need to be done. Needless to say I learned my lesson to measure each purchased panel to cut down and to not assume they are the exact same size.....never to old to learn.😝
Today DH is seeing about a possible root canal... and I need to pay some bills while he is gone....$$$$$$. This afternoon we are meeting with our builder to give him some earnest $$ and I'm sure we will get more information. This will be an expensive day.
Hope everyone stays warm. One day next week our high temperature is predicted to be only 10......that is more common for January or early February.....not Dec.

Good morning friends. We are experiencing typical cool weather here in RI. It is heading toward a high of 45! I can't believe it is warmer here than Maryenne is experiencing! Peg, nice job on fixing the curtains. Today I will be doing some shopping with my sister. Then some housework before going to see A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder tonight. Tomorrow I will be decorating the Christmas tree. Unless one of grandchildren comes by and wants to do it! I have my Christmas CDs out and have been enjoying them. I am going to pop Handel's Messiah in the car. DSIS and I love to listen to it as it is not only beautiful music, our mother loved it so much. Have a great day! Lynn

Good morning!
Lynn, enjoy your shopping with your sister. Peg, it's exciting that you are progressing towards the new house. Maryenne, it's cold here too.
Taking my dad to the doctor today. He's still extremely weak, so that will be a challenge even just to get him dressed, much less to the doctor's office and back. He is slowly gaining a little strength, but very slowly. I had thought from the way his cardiologist talked in the hospital that he would get back to the way he was before this last heart attack. I now think I was probably naive to think that. I guess I just wanted to believe that so badly. I tend to be an optimist most of the time. Now I am trying to stay positive, but at the same time be realistic. What my heart wants to believe and what my mind tells me don't always blend together well.
Esther waving to you as well as to anyone else who stops by the thread. Hoping that all is well with Michelynn and Joan.
Have a good day!
