Over 60 & Still Working/Saturday

Good morning everyone!

i am watching a Christmas movie this morning and it is helping me get in the spirit!  I would love to bake some cookies this weekend.  I will give some to the neighbors and we have a new neighbor moving in either this weekend or next week so I need to do something as a welcome.

I finally got the new sidelight curtains finished last night and hung.  Hurray!!!  The door area looks like new and like it belongs in this century instead of the last.  I need to get DH to put up a couple of new curtain rods in the living room, the tile repair guy is coming Thursday to replace the broken ones in the laundry room, and I have to call a handyman on Monday to schedule a time when he can come out to give us a quote for new tub drain hardware in the guest bath.  We have an appointment at the bank on Tuesday, need to get back with the builder, and I think that is it until after the new year.  The rest of the two weeks will be spent having holiday fun.

Good morning everyone! I stayed up too late last night watching Star Wars. LOL. My sons were just the right age when it first came out - 10 and 8 - and we went to see it over and over again. Many fond memories of Star Wars pajamas, toys, replicas, etc.

No plans for the weekend, except grocery shopping. In addition to just plain food, I have to buy ingredients for a breakfast casserole to take to work Monday for our holiday breakfast. I'm also working on our financial picture in terms of expenses/incomes after retirement. I'm really feeling the bug.

Peg, you sure are busy this week!
Maryenne, my son and his children are the biggest Star Wars fans! One of his sons is named Luke. I am surprised that his daughter's name is not Leia!
Off to Massachusetts for a few days. It may snow there Monday.
