Good morning friends,
Peg, I too wish we were neighbors! I'm sure your neighbors love their gift boxes.
After a busy week, I have a very light day today - time to catch up, things to read and comment on, etc. Our agency's holiday gathering is this afternoon -- since we are government and can't spend money on food, the snacks and drinks provided come out of a fund that earns money through recycling aluminum cans. The same fund is also used to send flowers if an employee is in the hospital or passes away.
I hope you all have a nice Thursday!

Good morning to all
I am off to school this morning and then to a therapy dog visit this afternoon.
Yesterday I went to visit an exhibition of illuminated manuscripts. It turned out to be from the earliest time of printing. Some designs were drawn and some were woodcuts. Some of the texts were handwritten and some were printed. It is fascinating to watch the technology change around the 1400-1500's. Books were chained to the seats in a library and patrons moved to a new chair when they wanted to read a new book. I don't usually make the time to see exhibitions at the local museums, but I think I will from now on.
Best to all for today.

Good morning,
The school that I taught at used the pop machine proceeds for that same purpose....providing treats, sending flowers, etc.
Well the handyman has been here this morning already to repair our guest bath tub drain. He has left to get a tool that he needs. The tile repair guy should be here within the hour. DH is having lunch with a friend today so needless to say I will be home getting some minor repairs taken care of. Tomorrow we are meeting with our builder again and then that should be it house/moving wise until the new year.
My goodness it is cold outside. I don't think I will mind being at home today at all. I have the cashew clusters boxed and have a batch of brownies ready to cut. I will make a half batch of doughnut muffins and then I can finish up my gift boxes.
Hope everyone can stay warm and safe today.
Peg

Esther, you mentioned a therapy dog visit. Our oldest DGS suffers from anxiety and they just got a miniature golden doodle. Our DGSs all just love the dog.

Good morning friends. I am starting off my birthday with a hair appointment. This afternoon DH and I are heading to our local winery to buy some Christmas presents. Tonight we are going to an Italian restaurant that we have not been to before. Peg, add me to the list of people who would love to be your neighbor! Your boxes sound truly great! Maryenne, enjoy your relatively quiet day. Joyce, hoping things have settled down with your family's health issues. Janice, Waving hello. Esther, the manuscript exhibit sounds fascinating! I love the museums in Boston. This spring I want to take DH to the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum. I was there with my BFF and thoroughly enjoyed it. Have a great day! Stay warm. Lynn
