Good morning ATF,
Maryenne, hope you got to D.C. yesterday with little additional delays if any.
i did get started on the storage closet. I managed to create four areas, DH's stuff, donate, trash, and definite keep. I have items in each area with some that I will move from keep to trash/donate. I will work for another hour or so today and empty out more. I do have some craft supplies in there that I am moving to the craft room that will be weeded through when I get to that room and it's closet. When I start working today I will take a trash bag up with me so I can camouflage a couple of DH's mom's old dishes to just be pitched. I know he has no idea that we even have them anymore......out of sight, out of mind, I hope!! I will clarify that we have several items that were hers and they are in the kitchen cabinets and are usable.
We will probably do our usual Sunday deli lunch today followed with a trip to Target. Our temps are to slowely warm this week and I think they are predicting near 60 temps with rain and thunderstorms possible by Thursday.
Wishing everyone a restful Sunday.
Peg

Good morning all. Maryenne, I hope you had an uneventful trip to D.C. We have a foot of snow on the ground. We are supposed to have temps close to 60 by the end of the week. Crazy weather! DH and I both have colds. It has hung around for almost a week now. We are slowly feeling better, but still tired. Peg, good luck with the decluttering. It sounds like you have a solid plan in place. Our plan for the day is to do some cleaning. DH will watch some football and I will work on the hat that I am knitting. I made a delicious dinner last night. Potato-leek soup, roast beef, mushrooms, smashed cheesy cauliflower, broccoli and salad. We have leftovers for dinner tonight! We watched "Philomena" last night, what a great movie! Have a great day!Lynn
