Good morning! I'm taking a little extra time this morning after 4 exhausting days. I'll head over to the convention center at 10 for a committee meeting. The presentation did go well as did the workshop I chaired Sunday.

Good Maryenne, we both posted at the same time again so here is my post......
Hi all,
Hope everyone's weather has improved for a couple of days.
I didn't accomplish much yesterday. It was soooo dreary that I took myself out for lunch while DH was gone. Yummy soup and a cookie. I did get two bags of trash out to the garage ready for today's trash but I only made one trip down the stairs with Goodwill stuff. Hopefully I can get the rest down today then start putting things back into the closet. DH hasn't touched any of his boxes. Last night I did take three pictures out for the trash and of course DH said to just take out the pictures and bring back the frames......I simply told him NO that the frames were cheap oak frames and we would never use them again. I totally expect him to bring them back into the house later today. I am afraid this move may turn into a real struggle over "stuff" but it has to happen!
So for today my Dr appt got switched because she is ill but I will still go give blood, lots quicker than an actual appt. I really want to start putting boxes back into the storage closet but won't do that until after a trip to Goodwill. This way I WILL get to Goodwill sooner than sometime many days away.
What is everyone up to today?? The sun is shining in IN this morning 😃

Peg, you beat me to the punch - I was about to copy mine to your thread, but I'm slow on the tablet.
Seems like DH and I struggle about stuff, too. We bought new frying pans and I wouldn't let him put the old ones in the shed.

Joyce, my heart goes out to you. The next couple of days will be hard for you, even though you know it is for the best. Hugs and prayers.
Peg and Maryenne, boy does the DH interefoin the cleaning and purging sound familiar! Even the junk drawer purge here had to be done while he was otherwise occupied!
Today I am mega-cleaning the living room. Dusting from the ceiling down, washing curtains, polishing furniture. Then DGS is coming over for a while after school.
The sun is out here today, our snow has significantly declined.
