Good morning! Since Peg and I seem to be on the same timeline, I'm typing fast Feeling like my cold is gone. Yay! Yesterday I "dry-cleaned" a few things in my dryer. Today I need to wash some sweaters separately and dry them flat. I don't really have anyplace to lay them out where Lucille and Irene won't jump on them, so I usually just hang them over the backs of chairs out on the porch. I bought a book called "An Invisible Thread" for $1.99 on Amazon but haven't started reading it yet. Also want to start my new scarf project - which to do? Maryenne

Good Maryenne and ATF........we did it again. Here is my post from the other thread.
Good morning everyone,
Well I did talk with DH about sorting/purging, and simply helping. He apologized with a kind of lame excuse BUT he did start working on his boxes.....thank goodness!! He said he has one more box to sort through then he will be ready to pitch/rebox, etc. I don't think he will probably throw out much but at least he will know what he has and I will encourage him to label every box which will help.
i am ready to move on to my craft room......that will take several days.....and lots of trash.
It looks like the ice storm is going to miss us. My cough is horrible this morning. I may go to an urgent care today. Enjoy your day!!
Peg

Hi Peg ! LOL
I find with DH that I just have to say certain things very firmly. It might make him angry, but it's the only way to get some things across to him. However he is somewhat passive-aggressive as well. An example - he does his own laundry, which is great. However he hangs his shirts on a bar that runs between the cabinets over the washer and dryer. And then he never moves them to the closet. Yesterday, I said to him "please move those shirts to the closet because I have to wrestle with them to get to the knobs on the w/d." He moved half of them and then quit. What? So he's forcing me to tell him again. I hate that.

Hello all. We had a morning donut date with our son's children and then we all went to a birthday party for a two-year old. A lot of fun and hub-bub! Before we left I put a pot roast in the crockpot. Dinner is cooking away as I write this! I boxed up more books today, so we will drop those off tomorrow when we go to the gym. I started reading Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver. I am only a few pages in. Thinking about Joyce's family and hope things are going well. Janice, stay safe in the cold and ice! Peg and Maryenne, if we could figure out how the male mind works, we could sell the secrets for a lot of money! Esther, how are things in Boston? I miss hearing from Joan and Michelynn. Hope all is well with them. Enjoy the rest of the evening. Lynn
