Good morning dear friends,
I did get out with DH yesterday to get a new Keurig and toaster. We've used both this morning and they appear to be fine. We did get a red Keurig....DH isn't real crazy about the color. I will agree it doesn't look super in our current kitchen's color scheme but I am hoping it will pop in the new one. It felt really good to get out for a while with sun and blue sky!!
We have no plans for today. It is bright this AM with clouds and rain predicted for this PM. Maybe we can finally get that much needed trip to Goodwill done, our dining room is stacked and piled.

Good morning! Once again it is a rainy, overcast day here but temperatures are very mild so we shouldn't complain. My memory for the day on FB was of the big snowstorm we had this time last year. DH has gone out of town for the day. We are buying another rental property, and he wants to go with the handyman we use to check a couple of things. While my mom had a rough night and very rough morning yesterday, she had a pretty good mid-day and afternoon. I haven't checked on them yet this morning, but I'm hoping things will be better soon. They just have to be. I'll go visit with them awhile today, and other than that will have a quiet day. In the morning early I am to get my second spinal injection. Not looking forward to that, but I am hopeful that this second one will take all this pain completely away. Keep your fingers crossed!  Esther, looking forward to hearing about the Boston march. Good morning friends.
We had a nice evening with our friends last night. There was no Mahi Mahi so I went with the salmon. The restaurant needs to update the website!
Today we are off to BJ's warehouse store. We need to stock up on essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. After shopping at the store we will fill up at their gas station for a substantial savings. Tonight after the football game I will decorate the restaurant display window for Valentine's Day.
Joyce, prayers for your parents. Also for you, I hope you can get some relief from your spinal injection tomorrow.
Peg, happy new kitchen appliances! I almost bought a red coffee maker but DH wasn't crazy about the color. I agree that it would be not in place here in RI. But when I have to replace the coffee maker in MA, it will definitely be a color, most likely red! DH seems to shy away from color in the kitchen other than for the walls!
I have been writing a good thing that has happened every day on a calendar that I have dedicated to this purpose. I smile at the various things I have written. And the fact that even when things seem bleak, there is something good to be found in each day.

Good morning Peg, Lynn, and Joyce and all to follow,
We have had thunderstorms all night and into today. I was planning to make soup today, but I forgot one ingredient. Might run up to the country store (8 miles) and see if they have what I need.
Other than that, it will be a quiet day.
