Good morning all,
Definitely feeling better this morning. Laundry is well under way.
Well our new toaster is going to take some regulating. It likes to burn toast and bagels. As for the new Keurig, DH doesn't like it at all so it will go back. It is giving everything an after taste. DH is trying to get our old one to work and almost has it. He is sooooo funny. He has to "research" everything almost to the point of obsession. He doesn't want anything that isn't highly rated.....which I do understand.....but...oh well.
Our weather was great yesterday and it felt so good to be out with only a light weight jacket and blue skies.
i need to make some phone calls today and then I am hoping to get DH to help make our trip to Goodwill. I would love to start cleaning out my craft room.
Hope everyone has an awesome Monday!
Peg

Good morning friends. We had a good day yesterday. We got a lot of errands done and then watched the Patriots go on to the Super Bowl! We decorated the display case at the restaurant. Today I am hoping to get a walk in and box up some more books for donating to the local library. I am trying to downsize my bookcases. Actually get rid of two and replace them with one. The two are on their last legs and don't suit our lives at this point. DH and I agreed that our professional books can go. I am reducing the number of cookbooks I have, too. I will bring the excess to cookbook club and any not taken can go to the library book sale. Peg, I hope you get the boxes to Goodwill soon. I need to go through my craft supplies after the book case project. I have a box of treasures for the art department at my old high school. They are always looking for things for the two and three dimensional art classes to incorporate into their pieces. Have a great day! Lynn

Good evening everyone
The Women's March in Boston was exciting. The crowd was estimated at 175,000. I was lucky to go in town early. The public transportation was overwhelmed soon after and people couldn't get into the stations. The Seiu union opened their hall to the musicians, keeping our cases and feeding us breakfast. Two bands started out together and then got separated in the crowd. I ended up in the wrong band and was never able to find my own band. I was stuck in one place for two hours unable to move. There were speeches that we couldn't hear. The tone was very amiable, everyone seemed delighted to be there together. The weather was perfect. By Sunday I couldn't move. That's the longest I've been on my feet in 6 months.
Joyce I hope your mom is doing better today.
Goodnight all.
