Join in if you are someone who loves, owns, has owned, leases, rides, or just likes to watch these magnificent animals! We love to share stories and talk about the critters that keep us on our toes and in the saddle while on this weight loss journey. If you don't see this thread, please feel free to start it. Good morning.
It's so muggy here I didn't want to walk but I did.
QOTD-did you ever write horse stories?
When I was in the 5th grade I was going to write a book about a yearling who was herd stallion. How little I knew about horses then as no yearling has the growth or experience to be a herd stallion. Of course I can't even remember what I was going to call it way back then. So much for fantasy.

Hi all Went to the Cavalia show last night. Think Cir de Sole and add horses, almost 70 horses. It was wonderful! Most were Spanish Riding Horses, but also Quarter horse, Paints, Arabs, Warmbloods.
You all have great rides today!

Was not up to posting yesterday, feeling fine today. To answer yesterday's QOTD I live in PA, we moved here about 20 years ago and I love it.
Todays QOTD. I did not write any stories down about horses but I used to daydream about them. Most of these involved my parents surprising me with a horse. LOL. They did send me to a 2 week summer camp with horses a few years, so that was awesome.
Weather is still not the greatest but slightly better in the morning. I got a nice lesson on Rueben in this morning. Lots of walk breaks and took extra time cooling down properly.
Going out to water flowers, I wouldn't want the deer to go hungry. HA! The heat is supposed to "break" on Friday.

Good afternoon, I finally had some time to stop by ... how is everyone? Today and my one year anniversary of purchasing Sunny ... what a year it has been.
QOTD - not stories, but much poetry!!!
It has been SO HOT and humid here in Massachusetts that I haven't been doing much riding ... just hanging out with my boy ... would LOVE a 70 degree day with a breeze strong enough to blow away the biting flies.
Have a great day,
Lacey

Dutchwife where was this at? I've seen the Lipizzans several times but not Cavalia. Right now... Portland, Oregon,.. on it's way San Jose and Orange County, CA. This is night and day different from the Lipizzan show. This is more entertaining vs. educational.
