Good morning to all
I am going to get my computer repaired today. There are a lot of things it won't do. I think it may have some virus interfering with its performance which my virus software isn't catching.
I am going to try to march with the street band today. So far I have only been going to rehearsals. I think it will be good for me to walk if I am able. I am also debating signing up for a dance and music camp in August. I know I can do the music part of the program and I can do as much as I like of the rest of it.

Esther, the dance and music camp sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you decide to do it. Computer issues can be a nightmare. My laptop has gotten to the point that it just doesn't want to cooperate anymore too. Yesterday I bought a new laptop to replace it, so today I'm going to get that set up for use. That will probably take a lot of time getting everything transferred over. I do use Carbonite to backup all my files so other than time consuming that won't be hard to do.

Esther, I agree with Joyce, the dance and music camp sounds like a lot of fun and I hope you go for it too! What are the sleeping accommodations like??
Joyce, I know what you are saying about laptops lasting only so long. Ours is almost 8 years old and we know we are on borrowed time. It doesn't get used much since we both have iPads. I do use it for our taxes and the school supply fund files. We hope to nurse it through this year's tax returns with the idea that we will replace it after we get moved into the new house. We back everything up on an external drive so hopefully we are covered. What kind of computer did you get??
Today is another gray day in IN but they are calling for sunshine tomorrow....hurray!! I will be going to the viewing is afternoon of a past student, an awesome gal! Otherwise I don't have any plans.

Good morning everyone! That dance and music camp sounds like fun, Esther!
I was hoping to do our taxes today but we're still waiting for one 1099 for some work DH did last year. Maybe it will come this week and I can do the taxes next weekend. It will be a little different this time since DH retired, we've now got SS, pension, my wages, and his sidework. But TurboTax has never done me wrong. I'm fortunate that DH is a computer pro and keeps us up and running. Our computers back up automatically every night to an external drive, so we've never lost anything in our frequent power outages.
Speaking of which, we tried out our new stovetop coffee pot this morning. It's really a pot for camping, but I bought it so that when our power goes out we can at least use our gas stovetop to make coffee. Today I'm going to try to finalize what I'm wearing and packing for my DC trip on Tuesday. So far, I think I will wear the same clothes on the flights up and back so that will reduce my load somewhat.

Good morning everyone.
I also think music camp sounds like fun!
We are going to a community fundraiser this afternoon. The local volunteer fire departments have a chili cook off every year with the proceeds going to a good cause. This year it is for the family of a young woman who was injured when a tree crushed the car she was in. It was a freaky event. The tree just fell, it wasn't a crash or during a storm.
We are meeting with our contractor tomorrow for the last stage of the MA house. The three season porch is becoming a four season extra living space.
Today I have to clear a few shelves on the adjoining wall.
