Good morning friends,
I realized last night I never left the house or put on real clothes all weekend. I guess that's a relaxing weekend! I did accomplish a few things around the house, did some crocheting, and watched an interesting documentary on Netflix called The Imposter.
Today, I have a couple of meetings and need to prep for my trip to DC tomorrow. Tonight I'll pack.

Hi all,
Maryenne, one thing I definitely don't miss in retirement is meetings.. Presentations used to be fun even though nerve racket no sometimes and I did enjoy the travel. How did your meeting go last week with both of your bosses??
We get all of the stuff delivered to Goodwill yesterday!! Hurray!!
Yesterday was tough though as my BFF teaching friend and I went to the viewing of a past student who lost her 2 year battle with colon cancer. She was an awesome gal and ran for a state officer of a high school youth group that we sponsored. The cancer was detected when she went for her first colonoscopy after turning 50. They found the mass but it had already spread to her liver. She had no symptoms. We were really glad we went even though we stood in line for two hours before getting to the family. It was harder on me than I had anticipated. We not only had her in class but all of her kids and they all told us that she talked about us all of the time, even her husband. Her parents remembered me too and I had only met them a couple of times.
So we are having a sunny day today!!! Right now there isn't a cloud in the sky. I really need to enjoy it!! Otherwise the laundry is started and under control. I want to continue decluttering my craft room too. Maybe I can convince DH to go out for lunch and then stop at Target since we didn't do that yesterday.

Good morning! Sunshine again! YAY!!!!!
I got all my backup files downloaded from Carbonite onto the new computer yesterday, and today I'm loading the few programs that I regularly use. That shouldn't take too long. Also have to check on some medicine issues with my mom and dad's prescription drug insurance, and DH is taking my dad to get his glasses fixed (frame is bent). I will stay with my mom while he does that. Not comfortable yet leaving her alone for long even though it is at AL.

Good morning friends.
I am taking a coffee break from cleaning and decluttering. The contractor has started taking the paneling down in the porch. We discovered old siding from the original house, built in 1840. The porch was an addition to the original house some time before 1950. If we can salvage the siding we are going to have a unique focus wall.
Peg, my condolences on the passing of your former student. Congratulations on the Goodwill donations.

Hello all
I turned out to have many bad files on my laptop.
It needs to have the hard drive wiped clean. I do have an external hard drive that backs it up. What a nuisance. I hope they can help me get everything back together.
The McAfee virus protection did not catch anything.
