I just wanted to bring this to your attention, as there is a meme heavy post already which might start eating allowances. I'm not sure how much space they take. Cyn, No worries, I don't think that's the case anymore. From the Proboards Freeforum FA Q:
"With ProBoards' free forum hosting service, there are no limits on pageview bandwidth, the size of your membership, number of discussion threads, or forum activity levels. You are welcome to build a community of monumental proportions. Our forums are built to scale for large communities!" Save

One of the forums I post on (Cruise Critic) has a neat little feature that allows you to go to the first new post in a thread. I can't see that this one has it, but if it is an option I find it handy for longer threads.

B) There's a big difference between a community deciding what's acceptable and "Big Brother" making the decision. C) It's etc, short for etcetera. Save

I know we're new here and stickies are the best way to get news across, but at some point, I'd personallt like to see them limited. They can take over. Thanks for all the good work!

I'll move the polls one down and as we all get used to it, the other ones can probably go, too. Or just have one "if you're new" thread up top.

Any idea why my avatar doesn't appear next to the threads (well, ok, just one so far) that I posted in?
Edit: it shows on this post. I guess it's not retroactive?

Because it's a plugin that collects information when you post and it can't collect from before it was installed. It was installed this afternoon.

I swear I thought I posted this already, but i think I lost it - so sorry if I posted this twice.
Is there a way to add sort functionality? I always sorted the GDT by last post, but I think some folks liked the default order of thread date. And if I had been gone for some days or weeks, I liked to catch up by sorting by number of posts.
Can those options be added?

We couldn't find anything unfortunately.

Is there any reason my default font is small again? Two possibilities: 1. The old one is still in your cache. Close your browser and reopen. 2. You shrunk your view. Use CTRL + to make it larger. CMD + on a Mac.

I can't see that this one has it, but if it is an option I find it handy for longer threads. I tried to edit this but it didn't even have the option. Does the edit function go away after a certain amount of time or is it because it's pinned? - just checked and it does have the edit so I'm guessing it's a time thing. Either way, I see how I can do what I requested now. I see you can now edit again.

Thanks moderators for handling this. Hopefully you don't get burnt out... I have an idea. Is there a way to denote who the OP is in a thread? So that later throughout the thread it's easy to skim and maybe find the OP's update, if the thread gets long or is multiple pages? I see that the posts alternate white and gray, maybe the OP's posts can always be light blue or something.

You can look at a member's recent posts but you'd have to either go to the start and click on their name or remember who they are and find them at any point.

Are post #s possible? A number of other forums I read have them and they are super-convenient when directing someone to information that's been covered in a prior post in a multi-page thread.

OOPS, I Just saw this here & I just posted a suggestion to another section. Sorry!
Is it possible to have the most recent posts show up on page one of each thread?
