Good morning all.
Just starting us off and saying hi. I have a manicure appointment this morning. I am bringing a cuo of the lentil salad to my hairdresser along with the recipe. She loves lentils and was intrigued by the recipe when I told her about it. Later today we will go pick up the winter shipment of wine- 2 bottles and then go out for dinner with our friends. Good Morning - the lentil salad sounds interesting!
Saturday morning - laundry is started, need to load the dishwasher and tidy up the kitchen. Then a few errands. Going to stop at the local owned grocery and see what meat they have smoked today. It is always ready about noon on Fridays and Saturdays. The chicken makes several nice servings and also add to salad. They sell out pretty fast especially in winter when people are not doing as much smoking themselves at home.
I am taking Monday off as I have a bit of "use it or loose it" time and I have the routine furnace inspection scheduled. I usually do this spring and fall but I got off schedule somehow. Years ago I never did the inspections - just called if there was a problem but when I replaced the old system with the dual fuel high efficiency system they said I had to have it serviced two times a year so I am. Don't want to screw up the 10 year full warranty.
Went for a glass of wine with my neighbors last night - I think we were all tired as there was not the usual high energy talking. Just sat together and sipped! (Either that or it was a very dull week!)

Good morning Lynn, Janice, and all to follow,
I slept in after a toss-and-turn night and probably needing to get rest after my trip and a very busy day yesterday.
Our heating/air conditioning unit died yesterday. Fortunately, it's not too cold or too hot this weekend. Our warranty is 5 years and it's about to run out. For some reason, we've had to have service on this unit once a year ever since we bought it.
Today I'm going to do our taxes, and then maybe go to an organizational meeting later in the afternoon with the women who organized our local women's march. I haven't decided. I'm more likely to go to an interfaith service tomorrow afternoon. Other than those iffy plans, not much going on. The weather is beautiful here, so it would be nice to get out.

Hi all,
We watched two basketball games for the DGSs this morning. The older DGS's game was awesome to watch. He has improved soooo much. The middle DGS's game was fun too. Tomorrow afternoon we will be going to two indoor soccer games then driving back to IN on Monday. Needless to say we are having a great time. We met DD and DSIL for lunch yesterday while the DGSs were at school so we were able to have some good adult conversation.
Time for a shower.....whether I need it or not....not enough time early as we left the house early this AM.
