Finished my taxes yesterday. Yay!

Good morning friends.
Congratulations on finishing the taxes Maryenne. That is a major accomplishment!
I am in a lazy Sunday mood myself. I may take a run to the craft store to get some soap base for some spring soaps. A couple of cups of coffee and the paper sound good, too.
We had a nice time at the winery, enjoying a glass of wine and stopping by a little Italian restaurant with an eclectic menu for a late lunch. I had an Asian duck breast salad that was delicious!
We will watch Super Bowl tonight and root for the Patriots. No parties. Just us and the television.

Good morning! Still in my robe and enjoying coffee here too. Think I'll have another cup.
Yesterday DH and I took a drive up to Bowling Green, KY which is only about an hour away from us. It's a nice drive, and we used to do that often but this is the first time in a long time. It was cold, but the sun was shining brightly which made it a good drive. We didn't do anything special, but went to the mall there and then had lunch before coming back home. They have a store in the mall there which we don't have locally, and I can usually find clothes I like there, and the prices are good. No such luck yesterday though. I think that's the first time I've ever been in that store and walked out with nothing. Didn't even try anything on.
We're not sports fans, so won't be watching the Super Bowl here. We are going to take a short drive two towns over for a quick visit with step-son #2 and family. Their little boy (our youngest grandson 11 months) had tubes put in his ears on Thursday. Hopefully this will eliminate the terrible ear infections he has been getting.

Good morning Lynn! I was a little nervous about our taxes this year, only because our income changed from just two simple W2s and little bit of freelance dollars, to DH's retirement pension for half the year, his SS for part of the year, his sidework, etc. But TurboTax walked me right through it, so I was relieved.
We're not football fans, so no Superbowl for us. Have fun!
Good morning, Joyce! I have a good friend who lives in Bowling Green. Have you seen all the jokes about the "Bowling Green Massacre"?

Good morning,
We are off to watch soccer this afternoon. In between games we are going to take the older DGS out to lunch, so he can have some special one-onone time with us. He is super sensitive and he wanted me to take him shopping yesterday which I explained to him wasn't an option. Lunch will be a little make up for that.
Our builder emailed on Thursday saying he was working on our bottom line for the house and wants to meet next week. I told him when we are available but haven't heard back yet.
Heading back to IN first thing in the morning. Have a great Sunday!!
