Good morning everyone,
Peg, be safe on your drive home this morning.
I just have meetings today and probably dinner out with a consultant. I need to squeeze in some time to work on a presentation.
At home, someone is supposed to be coming to fix our HVAC unit, which DH will handle.
That's it for my news today...hope you all have a good Monday!

Rise and shine everyone, it is Monday,
I'm looking at about 9 hours behind the wheel today, over 500 miles. Being Monday there will be lots of semis on the road, more the closer we get to Chicago before turning south on I65. We will probably hit rain this PM.
We've had a lot of fun with the DGSs sports, the Super Bowl, and good talks with DD and DSIL. They will probably find out in two weeks more about their moving back to IN. They are very much up in the air about everything. It is very stressful for both of them. They haven't said anything to DSIL's parents about their move so we are their only sounding board right now. DSIL will take a huge pay cut but they have worked on a budget and know their limits. DD doesn't want to return to work for awhile because of oldest DGS's autistic issues. He really struggles at times.
Well that is it for today. Happy sunny trails to all.
Peg

Good morning everyone
I am still putting my computer together after having the hard drive wiped. I now have email and the printer working. I have not figured out how to restore my backup. That is the next task.
I missed a rally in Boston yesterday because the bus did not show up according to the schedule. I don't know what caused that.
Today I am going to visit a friend with some serious family problems. She needs some support.
Peg - Have a safe drive. That sounds like a strenuous day.

Good morning everyone!
Rain is expected here today, and then strong storms and possibly tornadoes for tomorrow so no sun out my window this morning. Even without the sun, however, I woke up feeling more hopeful than I have in a long time. For the past 3 days when I have visited my mom and dad things have been going well with them. They are both gaining strength, and even though my mom still has pain and continues on pain meds, her spirit seems much brighter and more hopeful. I had been afraid that she had just given up, so it's really good to see her making an effort again.
I did get the tax software loaded on, my paperwork is in order, so now it's a matter of entering the data. The rental properties take the longest. I am hoping Turbo Tax will pull the depreciation on houses, appliances, etc. over from last year. But there will also be 2 new ones to enter. Not hard, but time consuming. I'll also do my mom and dad's which are very simple, and DD and DSIL's although I don't have any of their information yet. There's still plenty of time, but I'll at least get started today.
Hope each of you has a lovely day!

Good morning friends. The New England fans are celebrating today! That game was fantastic last night, both teams played well. DH is on a search for a championship shirt today. We have a few errands and I will pay bills. Peg, your daughter's family certainly has a lot on their plate now! A lot of decisions to make. It sounds like they are taking their time and weighing their options. Virtual hugs and prayers for them. I hope your meeting and presentation preparation go well, Maryenne. Isn't it nice to have a retired spouse to take care of the things like the heating and AC? Have a great day! Lynn
