Good morning all,
Maryenne posted to yesterday's thread this morning so I will try to copy it to here in a couple of minutes.
Well yesterday was a productive day. We should have our tax refunds within three weeks and I took the new house financing info as far as I could....need info from today's meeting in order to continue with that.
I have the crockpot going for dinner tonight. We may actually get 3" of snow this afternoon which would be our largest snow of the winter, and I also have a dr appt.
Hope everyone has a great Hump Day.
Peg

Here is Maryenne's post from earlier this morning......
Good morning friends,
I didn't sleep well last night -- combination of stress and worry, I guess. When I did fall asleep, I had dreams about work. Ugh.
We had big storms earlier in the evening, but fortunately we didn't lose power, although a lot of people did.
Tonight I'm going to my gentle yoga class after work. I really need it this week.
Hope you have a great Wednesday!
Maryenne

Good morning everyone
We have a sheet of ice over everything this morning. I haven't been able to take the dog for a walk yet. The local highways are closed because of 20 and 30 car pileups. My music rehearsal has been called off.
Someone just called me from the synagogue to ask me to go shopping today. They are just not sensible about travel conditions. It is supposed to get very warm this afternoon so I will go shopping then.
I have my first meeting tonight of the board on the council on aging, my new volunteer position. I hope that works out well.
Have a good Wednesday.

Good morning everyone!
Esther, I sure don't envy you with all that ice. Hope it will go away quickly!
Peg, good for you for having your taxes filed! Hope you have a good meeting with your contractor today.
Maryenne, sounds like you are under a lot of stress right now. Hope it will ease for you soon.
I plan to continue working on our taxes this morning. I'm ready to enter the information for the two new rental properties we bought in 2016. Once I get that in finishing the return will go quickly, but I'm in no rush. Do want to find out how much we are going to owe though. It's warm here, but another rainy, stormy day so it's gloomy out my window.
Taking my mom for her eye injection yesterday went pretty smoothly. No major hurdles. That is always very hard on her, so I won't be surprised to hear that she had a restless night. I'll go visit with them this afternoon. Overall I think she is slowly improving. I can tell, however, that her mind is getting worse. That saddens me, but I'm grateful to have a good place for them that is close by me and where they can be together and are content. My dad I think is getting stronger daily. It's strange that for so long his health has been the worst with all his many issues; and now he is in much better condition than my mom, although I know his heart could stop at any moment, and he is probably pretty much on borrowed time. I'm grateful that things are going as smoothly as they are. I've learned a lot over these past years. Never take health for granted, and things truly can drastically change in a split second.
Have a great day everyone, and be sure to enjoy whatever you do.

Good morning friends. Joyce, my eyes welled up as I read your post. Virtual hugs and prayers for you and your family. Peg, you sure have a lot on your plate right now. But you seem to be taking it in stride. Just think, Florida in a few days! Esther, the freeze line must be closer to Boston. It is warm here, I can't believe it's supposed to snow a lot tomorrow. Maryenne, I hope you get some rest tonight. The sleepless nights are the worst! I got a good night's sleep last night after restless sleep Mondaynight. I kept waking up from bizarre dreams, but not nightmares. I as a zombie yesterday but refreshed today. Off to do some shopping before the storm shopping begins. For some reason people in RI need bread and milk whenever a storm is predicted! I say go for the wine! Have a great day. Lynn
