Good mornings everyone,
Maryenne, sorry about Chico's but did you find a purse or a special olive oil??
Joyce, hope you and your husband had a good day.
Janice, Lynn and Esther, did you have a good Saturday??
My Saturday was a good one. The sun came out and our temps got up to the low 60's so we didn't have to wear jackets when we went out. I got the bills paid and we ran errands. DH and I both found a couple of things for our trip. There were a ton of people out and about yesterday. Everywhere we went was crowded. We decided everyone wanted to get out in the unbelievably gorgeous weather.
I've got the laundry started so we will have everything clean to pack this afternoon. We will leave tomorrow after lunch, just driving to Bowling Green, KY. On Wednesday we are meeting DH's niece for lunch in Lake City, FL for lunch. Thursday we will visit DH's cousin who is in a hospital near Celebration. Friday we are having lunch on Long Boat Key with some people that I worked with. We are spending a couple of days near Sanabell Island (walk the beach looking for shells) then meet up with another of DH's cousins. And last but not least we check in to Disney World for a nice time with DD and her family. We plan on being back home on March 1. Sorry I went through our itinerary but I think someone asked.
That does it for me today. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!
Peg

Good morning Peg and all, Peg, thanks for sharing your itinerary. I was hoping I would be somewhere near, but I won't. I know you will enjoy the weather here, and especially Sanibel, one of my favorite places in the world. I'm lazy this morning, although I do have a small load of laundry going. DH is working on a pork roast in the crockpot. He did a beef roast the other day and we finally finished it last night. I wish he wouldn't keep opening the lid to check on it, but I'd best not say anything. It's a gorgeous day outside and I think he and his friend Al are going to do some work on the ancient tractor. I will try to force myself to go for a walk later. I bought some new shoes at Marshalls and paid about half of what they are in this link from Kohls: shoesThey're very comfortable. Have a happy day! Maryenne

Peg - Your vacation plans sound like heaven from snowbound New England.
We are expecting 8 to 16 inches of snow overnight. I am debating whether to try to get out to the gym before the storm hits. Our synagogue scheduled an interfaith Tu B'Shvat Seder (New Year of the Trees) today and invited all the local churches to participate. We have rescheduled for next Sunday. I hope the weather cooperates.
We had our monthly book group yesterday with DS and DD. I so enjoy them and their friends. I have had so much reading to do for my Israel course that all my books are on some part of that subject. I need to branch out a bit. I am reminded that I live in somewhat of a different world as a Jewish person. The rest of them live in an Irish Catholic world which is a different background.
Peg - Enjoy your vacation.
Maryenne - I hope you find some clothes that you like for your trip.
Joyce - I hope your parents are doing well.

I've "gone shopping" in my closet and have put together most of what I need. I think.

Good afternoon all. We are having a bit of snow today, with more expected through tomorrow. I don't think as much as Esther. It depends on the ultimate location of the rain/snow line. We are supposed to go to Providence tonight to see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Our original tickets were for Thursday night but we had to reschedule due to the snow storm. Tonight is the last night of the show, so I hope we can get there. I am so tired of snow! We are driving to Florida in March, I cannot wait! Crock pot meals are great for the weekend! I love the shoes Maryenne. They are super cute! Peg, safe travels. Your itinerary sounds like a nice combination of family and alone time. Esther, your book club sounds interesting. When I was studying I rarely read anything not school related that was longer than a short story! Joyce, I hope things are going well for your parents. Hi Janice! Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon! Lynn
