A quick hello this morning. I have a busy workday, DH has to get his car in for brakes, and we have a concert this evening(Richard Thompson/Blind Boys of Alabama) - logistics will be challenging.

Maryenne, it sounds like your day will be packed full and end on a high note. Hope you enjoy!
Well we will be leaving after we grab lunch somewhere here in town. We are only driving about 4 1/2 hours this afternoon. We decided we would do a couple short loads of laundry while we are gone to cut down on necessities which makes for lighter packing too. I may miss posting some days while we are gone but I usually wake before DH. LOL.
Waving to everyone! Enjoy your day. We will be driving in sun to warmer temps.

Good morning friends.
Our play was excellent last night. I highly suggest reading "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Might Time" by Mark Haddon. It is told from the view point of a teenager with autism. The play was a great adaptation of the book.
Peg, happy trails! Save some of that Florida sunshine for us, we head down in March for a couple of weeks. We can surely use some sun now! Although it seems we have missed this part of the storm, no snow overnight for us.
Maryenne, enjoy your concert tonight. I love their music but have never seen them in person.
I have finished one knitting project and will start another today or tomorrow. Car seat blanket done, hat is next.

Another snow day. Everything has been cancelled. I am hearing disturbing stories of people being hit by snowplows. Tomorrow I have the dog's annual checkup and a dentist appointment. I hope I can get those done. The next snow is forecast for Wednesday.
Maryenne - I like Richard Thompson's singing a lot. I have never seen him in person. Enjoy the concert.
Peg - I hope your trip goes smoothly.
Lynn - I am making a hat from the Sequence Knitting book which I got for Christmas. I am finding it difficult to keep to the sequence so this time I have markers on every repeat. I hope that will help.
Your play sounds interesting.

Esther, you are really getting hit hard with the snow, and more to come! Be safe getting out.
Just got back from the dentist. It's a little cold, but a beautiful day here with bright sunshine. I think we'll get out for a drive to a "sort of" famous restaurant here in our area -- The Loveless Cafe. They have great southern food. We did buy a new bed, mattress, etc. Bed is to be delivered Wednesday, and carpet cleaner is coming tomorrow, so today is our best opportunity to get out of the house.
