Good morning! Esther, stay safe in the snow and enjoy your contra dance tonight. Peg, did you make it to Sarasota? That's such a lovely area. Lynn, you stay so busy every day - it's hard to keep up!  Joyce, enjoy your visit with DD and be safe. I do have a bedskirt on our king-sized bed, but I've found you just can't keep it from collecting little dust balls. And DH has to take the mattress completely off to get the bedskirt off to wash. I like the idea of a larger quilt or comforter. Today, I have a meeting in the morning and then need to really focus on that second presentation. I leave around 3 for a hair appointment. My flight to San Diego is early Monday morning, so today I've got to collect everything I need to take. Hi Janice, Joan, Michelynn, Cindy, and all our friends. Hope you all have a good Friday! Good morning everyone
It's cold and sunny here,no snow forecast.
I'm going to get a haircut and try an exercise class at the senior center. I hope I can do enough of it to be worthwhile. The sidewalks are still too icy to walk much.
This afternoon I am going to visit a friend's daughter in rehab. She has no family since her mother died.

Maryenne, I hope you get some time in today to prepare for your presentation. Safe travels on Monday!
Joyce, I like the idea of a large comforter. Like Maryenne said, getting the bed skirt off to wash can be a chore on larger beds.
Esther, I hope the snow removal is good enough for you to make it to the contra dance tonight.

We have no major plans today. Our oldest grandson will be working with DH today to get in the rest of the wood from the woodshed. We sold his sister DH's car, so they will go to DMV to transfer the registration. I will watch the baby for a while. I am going to go through the CDs today and sort through them. Good morning everyone,
We did make it to Sarasota yesterday. The weather is beautiful. We did visit DH's cousin in the hospital before leaving Orlando and he may be released either today or tomorrow. Good news!
Today we are meeting three of our IN lunch group at the Dry Dock on Long Boat Key for lunch which will be a lot of fun. The couple own a condo on Anna Maria Island and the other flew down for the week. Tomorrow we head for Sanibel Island to walk on the beach and pick up shells.
Joyce, I agree with Maryenne and vote for a king size quilt or comforter. I like bed skirts BUT they are a pain to get on and then adjust.
Maryenne, hope you get everything done before Sunday night.

Lynn, will you and DH be driving to FL next month?

Good afternoon all. Peg, we will be driving to Florida next month. We have a few stops along the way and some stops in Florida. DH and I love road trips but we haven't done this drive since we took a three week vacation with the kids when they were 6, 8 and 10! Lynn
