Good morning Maryenne and ATF,

Maryenne, I knew you would be up early this morning but oh my........you couldn't have gotten much sleep. Safe travels!

We stopped at Walmart last night to get some bottled water. I don't have finicky taste buds but the local water just isn't cutting it.

We're hitting the Lee County Manatee Park this morning. There may not be any manatees but we are going to take our chances anyway. I am going to do some looking for additional things to do too.

Good Morning

Hope the traveling folks all have a good day! Peg, I have not spent much time in Florida and but I really enjoyed Leu Gardens in Orlando - great place to walk. Think maybe you are done with Orlando (other than Disney, I guess).

We are in a cycle of warm weather that should last til the weekend. We had a little rain overnight.

Weekend was too short and unlike many, this is not a holiday for us. Went to a Southern Gospel concert Saturday. Other than that, I tried to give priority to laundry and some needed organizing. Taxes are done so that is a nice feeling.

Maryenne, you will be tired by the time you get to San Diego. Maybe you can take a nap on the plane. Have a safe trip!

Peg, I hope you get to see the manatees. They are fascinating creatures. So big and so docile. Sounds like you are having a good vacation.

Janice, I love Southern Gospel music. Hope you thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

Esther and Lynn, hope you are both having a good day and doing something you enjoy.

The weather here is so strange this winter. While mild winters are our norm, this winter has really been unusually warm. They're predicting we will get to 75 degrees here today! That's unheard of in February, even if we are almost at the end of the month. Esther and Lynn, leave your snow behind and come on down to join me.

Since it's going to be such a lovely day here, I plan to get out and do some shopping. Looking for a new bedspread/comforter for the new bed. I've already looked a couple of places, but haven't seen anything that I especially like so plan on going to at least 3 or 4 places today. I shop for a lot of items online (Amazon is my best friend), but with something like this I want to actually see it and feel the fabric before buying.

Good morning friends.
It's sunny and warm here. The icicles are gone!
The government offices and public schools are closed today. It is the start of school vacation for some of our schools, too. My sister and I are heading to Home Goods later, they are having a sale. I am looking for some lamps for the bedrooms.

Joyce, enjoy your shopping trip. I am like you, there are some things that you need to see and touch in person before purchasing.
Peg, enjoy your manatee expedition. I am intrigued by them!
Janice, I hope your day goes well. How are the irises doing ? I love them. We need to thin ours out this year and move some around.
Esther, I hope the ice has melted and you are able to get out and walk safely.
