Good morning everyone,
Yesterday we checked out the Lee County Manatee Park, the water has warmed enough that they have migrated back out to open water. We check-in to Disney World today.
DH's cousin was released from the hospital yesterday.
That is it for this vacationing gal today.
Wishing everyone a great day,
Peg

Good morning! Maryenne, glad you made it safely to San Diego. I can imagine you must have been exhausted. Peg, sorry you missed seeing the manatees. I think you would have enjoyed that, but it sounds like you are having a good trip anyway. Lynn and Esther, how are you making it with all the snow? I expect your streets are all clear. With that much snow we would have been paralyzed for a long time here. Janice, waving hello. I did go shopping yesterday and found a comforter set I think I will like. I like the feel of the material, and the picture on the packaging looks really nice. I haven't taken it out of the zip bag yet, so haven't actually seen it on the bed. It was on sale, which makes it even better if it looks as good as I think it will. Today is DH's 34th anniversary since he defended his dissertation for his doctorate. We're going out for a nice lunch together. Any excuse to celebrate.

Good morning to everyone
Our street still has snow and ice. It is a dead end and the town won't plow it. We have been going out with an ice chopper to try to get rid of some of it. We are expecting a few warm days which should melt the rest of it. I am looking forward to being able to walk more easily with the snow gone. I have got into the habit of lying down for much of the day because of the pain in my back and hips. I think that is probably not good for me. Being more active would probably help long term healing. So for today I am setting Fitbit goals and giving up the long naps.
We just lost a beloved synagogue member suddenly from a heart attack. I am reminded that life is precarious. What if this is my last day? What do I want to do with it?
Have a good day all

Good morning everyone. Our snow and ice are melting quickly. The streets are clear, just waiting for the snow piles along the sides and at intersections to go away! Joyce, glad you found a bed covering that will work. Enjoy your lunch with DH, nice celebration! Peg, wave to Mickey for me! Esther, it is a shame that the city will not plow your street. Sorry to hear of your friend's passing. We never know what is going to happen next. I hope your presentation goes well Maryenne. Waving to Janice and anyone else I missed! I spending some time with two of my grandchildren today while my daughter gets her hair done. Have a wonderful day! Lynn
