Wow where has the week gone -- Happy TGIF and welcome home Maryenne!
Maryenne, I would imagine you were exhausted by the time you actually got home. Hope all went well! We are anxious to hear about it.
Hope everyone it looking forward to the weekend. Our DD's family is due to arrive here tomorrow, can't wait to see them and spend a couple of days with them before we head back to IN.
Yesterday we had a fun day at Epcot and the Magic Kindom before having dinner at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. We were at a table in the middle of the hall and the performers were all around us. At one point they were dancing in a circle around our table.....tons of fun. I logged almost 13,000 steps on my Fitbit and over 11,000 on Wed. Will either of us be sore today? Only time will tell.
Wishing everyone a great day!
Peg

Peg, it sounds like you are having a great visit to Disney. I have never been there. Everyone seems to enjoy it no matter what their age.
Maryenne,I hope you are not worn out by your travels.
Joyce, it sounds like things are quiet in your world right now. I hope it continues.
We had the funeral and a collation at the synagogue for my friend yesterday. It was an exhausting day. They just had a bat mitzvah in the family so everyone is feeling really close to them.
Today we have a therapy dog visit. The weather is like Spring. It makes it a pleasure to be outdoors.
Have a good Friday.

Good morning all. The dinner was fun last night. We got to meet some new people and see old friends. The food and wine were spectacular! Today we are taking some outdated equipment to the cable television office to trade in for new. The company is so helpful! I went by to pay the bill in person and ended up with a better deal and replacement equipment! We went for a nice walk yesterday and as long as the rain holds out we will go for another today. Peg, enjoy Disney with the grandchildren! Esther, I am glad the weather has improved to the point you can safely walk the dog! Maryenne, I hope you are able to get some rest this weekend. I am glad you enjoyed the zoo. I have been there twice, once with DH on vacation and once to take a class when I was there for a convention. Love it! Joyce, it's a challenge to be cooking for fewer people. When it's single items like chops or chicken parts, it's not too bad. I haven't gotten the knack for downsizing lasagna or chili, but I have gotten good at planning for leftovers and freezing extra portions for later. It's nice to cook once and have several meals prepared. Janice, enjoy your wine tonight! After a busy week it will be nice to have your visit with the neighbors. Happy Friday all. Lynn

Just stopping by for a quick hello. Maryenne, hope you had a good conference. Peg, so nice you'll be able to spend some time with DD's family while you are in Orlando. The musical revue last night sounds like fun. Esther, I learn so much sometimes from reading posts. I had never heard the word collation used as anything other than organizing papers, so I looked it up to find it is also a meal. Hope you have a good therapy visit today with your dog. Lynne, glad you enjoyed your dinner last night, and it's great you got a better deal with the cable company. I don't know about your area, but here our cable and wi-fi all come through the same company and they are expensive. Too expensive I think, but not much you can do about that. Janice, waving and wishing you a good day. Yes, things have settled down a lot here. My mom and dad are doing as well as can be expected, I believe. My mom continues to be very depressed, and is still on pain meds but the meds are controlling the pain so I'm grateful for that. She's on medicine for the depression, and I am going to talk to her doctor about possibly increasing that. I know he has to be careful with the Alzheimer's, but he mentioned once before that she could still go up on the depression med dosage. She has an appointment in mid-March. It's a beautiful day here, with sunshine and an expected high of 78*. Storms and rain are coming in tonight though, and the temperature is supposed to drop by 30* for tomorrow. DH and I are spending the day out of town tomorrow. He has some properties lined up for us to see as prospects for increasing our rentals. Hoping to also get to spend a little time during the day with DD and family. Today I'm going to look for lamps to go with the new guest bedroom furniture, and I also want to get some new sheets so that the color blends with the comforter. Have a lovely day!

Good morning! I got home around 10 last night and went right to bed. So today I will unpack and do my laundry. It was a great trip - San Diego is just beautiful although it was a little cool for the clothes I brought. My presentations were received very well and I had a great day at the zoo. So all in all - a A+ trip. I would love to spend more time in southern California. I don't have any significant trips coming up - just a couple of one-nighters in April and May.
Peg, I'm so glad you're having such a good time! I know you'll enjoy having DD and family down there with you.
Esther, so sorry about your friend. I hope you can get outside and enjoy some soul-healing sunshine.
Janice, my son has a recumbent bike and he's encouraged me to get one. I would just have to figure out where to put it.
Joyce, hope you had a good shopping day!
Lynn, good for you for having success with the cable company.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Maryenne
