Oh glorious Monday - good morning!
Peg, hope DH's foot is better today and that you all were able to enjoy the Magic Kingdom.
I did get my laundry put away, hung, folded, etc. I also made freezer strawberry jam, something I've never done before. My week isn't too busy, so I'll be able to catch up on some things. Several meetings today, but lighter as the week goes on. My dear friend from graduate school will be in town so she and I will have dinner Thursday night with our dissertation advisor. He is now professor emeritus having retired last year.
Wishing everyone a great week!

Good morning all!!
Yes Maryenne, I agree it is a glorious Monday!!
DH's toe looked better last night. We weren't able to run a scooter (all out) yesterday so he walked, pretty slowly but we made it. I can't say I had a lot of fun as we spent way much too time sitting just waiting on DD's family to meet up with us and the park was absolutely packed with the people. The weather was absolutely glorious. We came back earlier than originally planned because of toe and crowds. This was the Princess Run weekend in the parks so that brought more people too. OLdest DGS did ride with me through the Haunted Mansion making it extra fun.
Today we are meeting DD's crew for breakfast then we are off on our last day totally on our own. We are going to park hop, easier with just two than seven. We hope to get to Animal Kingdomfor a short bit, then on to Hollywood Studio for the Great Movie Ride (supposed to have been updated), back to rest then he MK for fireworks. We head north tomorrow morning and will stay in Atlanta tomorrow night.
iPad is about dead so I better quit. DH just woke up too.
Have a great day!!
Peg

Good morning friends. It's cold but sunny here in RI. Glad that DH's toe seems to be better, Peg. I agree about two being easier to manage than seven while traveling! We travel with a group sometimes and it is an issue when someone wants everyone to do the same thing at the same time. I am all for starting off together, checking in a couple of times and then getting together at dinner. But it's not always my call! Maryenne, you certainly have had a busy weekend! Hope your week is as quiet as it can be. I am off for breakfast with DD and great granddaughter while DH transfers a car to DGD at DMV. I will try to check back later. Waving hello to all I missed. Happy Monday! Lynn

Good morning everyone!
Peg, glad your DH's toe is better. I agree with both you and Lynne that trying to stay together as a group can be difficult. It's best to everyone do their own thing, and just meet for a meal as you are doing.
Maryenne, I've never heard of freezer jam before. Let us know how it turned out.
Lynne, enjoy your breakfast with DD and DGGD!
Esther and Janice, hope all is well with both of you.
It was raining when I got up this morning, but looks like it is trying to clear now. DH has gone to get the oil changed in my car. I finished the last of the tax returns yesterday, so don't have a lot planned for today. If it turns sunny, we will probably try to get out of the house even if it's just to take a drive. I had a restless night worrying about things I can't control. My mom's depression seems to just get worse, and she is not eating. Some days are better than others, but I can tell the depression is increasing even though the medication has been increased. The Alzheimers' is noticeably progressing as well. Still working hard to let those things go since I can't fix them, but I am definitely a work in progress about it.
Hope you each have a wonderful day!
