Good morning Lynn and ATF,
Well I have actually started cooking again. I fixed pork chops for dinner last night and we tried a new for us frozen veggie combo (Birds Eye Tucson Veg with Marinara Sauce) that we both really liked. This morning I made blueberry muffins....always yummy.
Yesterday I got back into decluttering my craft room and getting things boxed up as I don't think I will get into crafting again until after we move. I figure I can satisfy my creative juices with cooking/baking.....yep, that can be really dangerous for our waistlines. We are in need of boxes and packing tape.
Today we are going to take a drive looking at home exteriors, especially garage door styles and colors, siding colors, and roof shingles. I hope to continue working in my craft room too.
Happy Sunday everyone,
Peg

Good morning! Peg, I am so excited about your new house!
I'm enjoying being in the house with the kitties, but once again worry about what I would do with myself after retirement. A few days off is fine - more than that? That's what worries me. Right now things are going very well in my job, so I don't have that feeling anymore that I need to retire anytime soon.
DH is having a great time in Miami, catching up with old friends and driving around to see the old neighborhoods. Today he has a picnic at a park we all used to go to, so I know he'll enjoy getting back into jeans rather than his fancy clothes. He'll be home Tuesday and Irene and Lucille will be so happy. I can tell that they miss him.
Not sure if I mentioned that I finally finished crocheting a scarf I've been working on for several months and sent it to my son for his birthday. He loves it and says it's very warm. So I ordered more yarn and will make a few more for my Buffalo children.
Happy Sunday!

Good morning to all
We have jumped back into winter with wind chill below zero. What a strange season this is. I am staying in except for walking the dog.
I am thinking about moving. I would like a place with no stairs and where the town would plow the snow in the winter. I dread the work of packing everything up. I probably should investigate other places before I worry about packing up here.
Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning again! We just got back from church. The rest of the day will. E fairly quiet: laundry, pruning some house plants and preparing for the week ahead. If the weather warms a little, we may get in a walk, too. Dinner tonight: Pork chops, braised red Cabbage with apples, roasted asparagus and salad. What's on your plate today? Peg, your house plans are coming along! An exciting time for you and DH! Maryenne, congratulations on the scarf. I am glad your son liked it. I am working on a hat for DGS#1. It should be finished in a couple of days. Esther, this bitter cold has gripped New England for long enough! My walk yesterday was cut short by strong winds. I know you have no choice but to walk the dog. Hello to Joyce and Janice and anyone else who I missed! Have a great day. Lynn
