Over 60 and Still Working/Wednesday

Good morning and happy International Women's Day!

I had a very busy day yesterday and was so tired I didn't cook dinner as I had planned to but had a pb&j with my strawberry jam instead. DH wasn't ready to eat anyway, so he cooked himself a burger. The kitties were very happy to have him home. Now our "pride" is back together again.

Lynn, I'm sure Peg will tell you this is the perfect time to come to Florida. Everything is blooming and the weather is simply glorious. Yesterday the team I was working with all day decided to take a walk through the park to a little restaurant for lunch - it was wonderful to eat outside.

A little less busy today, so I plan to deal with paper all over my desk and go to yoga after work.

Yes Lynn, I totally agree with Maryenne, this is a beautiful time in FL. The only drawback is the huge numbers of people and you will have spring breakers too. Very low humidity and beautiful flowers!! You will definitely enjoy it.

Our new home will have a Craftsman style front door with sidelights and a transom. The door will have a wood stain and the glass will have have a pattern with some faint colors. It will match the style of all the interior house doors. The siding will be a very dark gray/blue...called sapphire blue then we are using white trim.

Today we are getting two quotes on having some interior painting done to our current house in prep for resale and I am having lunch with BFF. It should be an interesting and fun day. I will work several loads of laundry in at various times.

Good Morning

The door sounds lovely! And the siding will look very sharp with white trim. Nice! I had the interior painted two years ago - mostly because of the very high ceiling and walls in the living room and the estimates varied wildly. I called a friend who is a realtor and asked her for recommendations and found my painter that way.

Weather in Kansas has settled down some and by the weekend they are predicting some snow.

Have several meetings scheduled today but have my agenda ready for the big one so hope it goes smoothly.

Good morning friends.
This is a beautiful time to visit Florida. We have been in all seasons except fall. I am ready for some green grass and flowers. We leave a week from tomorrow.
Later we will drive to MA for a few days. I would like to get a start on the spring yard and garden work. The drizzle should be stopped by then. We may get some snow this weekend. I am done with winter in New England!
