Good morning ~ we had a lovely afternoon drive yesterday. DH was supposed to go see a tractor he is interested in buying, but the appointment was postponed until today. So we went for a drive up to Thomasville where I stopped in to see a yarn shop - the Fuzzy Goat - and then to a country store where we buy sausage, and finally to Lowes where we looked at kitchen stuff. We're going to do a mini-makover of our kitchen - new sink and fixtures, new cabinet handles, etc and I'm going to paint the cabinets themselves. Someday we'll re-do the floor but I'm not quite ready for that yet.
It looks like it might rain today which would wash the pollen away - temporarily anyway.
Hope you have a peaceful Sunday!

Hi all,
Maryenne, your kitchen update sounds fun! I will anxious to hear how it all goes and how you do with the painting job, I never thought I wanted to tackle that but our current cabinets have a woo do stain so all of that would have to be sanded and then painted. Good luck!
Well they did do a little more framing yesterday. They are predicting 2" of snow for us tomorrow....grrr.
I made cherry scones for breakfast this morning. I ordered the cherries from a company in MI and I ended up with two lbs instead of just one compliments of the company and they are soooo yummy. So I made twice as many as usual and will try freezing them, hope they reheat well.
I finally finished cleaning out my craft room yesterday....HURRAY!....so I started straightening other areas. I've started collecting things for another trip to Goodwill too. DH felt like going out for dinner last night and we went to Menard's to look around and walk, it was good.
Today we will probably go out for lunch and stop by Target...our usual.....then I will probably continue organizing/straightening things.
Waving to everyone! Lynn, I hope your trip to FL will be snow free. Tuesday's storm may be a real issue.

Good morning friends. Peg, we are keeping an eye on the approaching storm. The storm path will determine our route, but I don't anticipate more than a one day delay if that. We are expecting 12 to 18 inches in RI but much less than that in RI. Maryenne, at this point I will be thrilled to have pollen on my car as opposed to snow! We finished hanging curtains downstairs and today I am measuring the upstairs bedroom for curtains. The house was built in 1840 and has considerable charm. That is a nice way of saying things are not level or square! It makes some things a challenge. The windows are not standard sizes, so I have to alter the curtains. I am always up for a challenge. Today I will get a few errands done before our son gets here later this afternoon. I brought my camera with me and I want to take a ride and take some pictures. Joyce, happy birthday to your mother. Waving to Esther and Janice! Have a good day! Lynn

Good morning everyone
We are having much colder weather than I like, in the teens. I am ready for spring. The weather forecast is for a blizzard starting tomorrow night. I hope it will be the last big storm this winter. I keep thinking my back will feel better if it gets warm again.
I need to keep moving and doing my stretches.
Peg, I hope your house building continues to go well.
Have a good Sunday.
