Good morning.
Hot and humid here. I need some ideas for QOTD. I'm out of ideas myself.

I tried a little experiment with Rueben when we rode out this morning. When headed home there is a few options back to the barn so I rode on a loose rein and tried to be neutral to see which way Rueben would choose to go if it were up to him. He started heading home but when he realized I was not bossing him around he decided to go into a field and eat grass. I thought he was cutting across the field. LOL. I guess if I ever fall off he will just stop at the nearest field of grass and not go all the way home. LOL...... Good to know I won't have to walk back.

Hi all,
Amy, that is an impressive collection of questions!
Despite it being 90+ each day this week (kind of unusual for our area) and super humid, my kids had a great time at riding camp. I loved seeing them enjoying themselves so much at the farm!💗
I had a great lesson on Thursday; I've been walking a lot over the past 3 months, and can tell a real difference in my riding and position because of it.
Have a great day!

Amy-thanks for all the ideas. If you ever want to start the thread please start it. Sometimes I get real busy in the mornings and can't get to my laptop until later in the day. Glad Reuben isn't a runaway.
Chickadee-glad the kids enjoyed horse camp.
Barb-glad you were able to get a ride in this morning..

Holy wow, Amy...what a lot of thoughts!! Glad Reuban is more interested in food than in getting back to the barn. My mare was the opposite Barb, glad you got some rain. Is the visit over? Beth, I supposed being on the West Coast does have it's pluses...the board is always started before I get here! See ya, gals! cathy
