Good morning everyone, I'm up and out early this morning to get my car to the dealership for new airbags due to a recall. I have to get there in time to catch their shuttle which will drop me off at work. DH will pick me up at noonish to grab a bite of lunch and then go to the services for my cousin, and then take me back to get my car.
It's a tad warmer this morning than yesterday, and will end up around 70 today, so it should be nice later on.
Hope you all are warm!

Hi all and Happy St. Patty's Day!
I did get my side of the closet finished yesterday.. I've decided that DH's solution to staging the house will simply be ....open a drawer and throw it in.....out of site, out of mind. We did have an enjoyable dinner with our friends last night.
Today will be kind of full. I have a couple of errands to run this morning before getting my 12-month shots. Lunch witll be with our usual group followed by an appt for cabinet selections. I think dinner will be at O'Charley's as I don't cook on Fridays, tradition continues from my working days.
DD's family is due in either tomorrow or Sunday for their week of Spring Break. They have bought a home back here and DSIL will start working here again within a month. They will close on the house (one they had actually rented for a short while) on Monday. The whole family will move back once school is done for the summer. They really like the Omaha area and hope to move back once financial issues stabilize for them, maybe in another couple of years. Needless to say I am anxious to have everyone here but when they go back we'll have less than two weeks to finish prepping this house for sale.
That is more than enough for today, waving to everyone.
Peg

Good morning friends. It is sunny here in MA, but cold. We will leave for FL in a couple of hours. I have finished a few housekeeping type things this morning. Next up is packing a lunch for the road. My cousin is stopping by this morning for a bit before we leave. Peg, your day sounds busy! Happy cabinet choices! Maryenne, your day sounds busy as well. My condolences on the loss of your cousin. I will keep you posted from the road. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Lynn

Good morning everyone and Happy St Patrick's Day!
It's gloomy here and rain is expected. I enjoyed lunch with my friend yesterday, and last night some old friends from back home texted to say they are in the area and want to come and visit with my mom and dad today, so I will be there as well. Happy they are coming because it will really boost my mom and dad's spirits to see them.
Tomorrow is our youngest grandson's first birthday party. He is also the one who lives closest to us.
Have a lovely day everyone and waving to Esther, Janice, and anyone else who stops by.

We are back from the service for my cousin. It was quite lovely. His son did a beautiful job putting it all together. Afterward, DH and I went to a little Japanese sushi-grill kind of place because we hadn't eaten all day. Then I got my car from the dealer - he went shopping for slacks and I came home. It's really beautiful outside.

Hello to everyone
It is cold and sunny here. I take the ice chopper to the snow each day when things melt a bit. I am aiming for an ice free path to the main street eventually. Right now most of our dead end is a sheet of ice except where I have been able to chop it up. Next week we are supposed to have 2 days over 40 degrees. I am hoping we will be able to get rid of all the snow then. Saturday and Sunday there are storms forecast for this area.
We had a very enjoyable Renaissance flute workshop this morning. The 2 hours flew by. I was able to take the dog on a longer than usual walk this afternoon. She is now napping and looking quite content. Tonight is our monthly contra dance. I am sure there will be some celebration of St. Patrick's Day at the dance. I have my green shirt on.
Happy St Patrick's Day to all.
