Good morning all, I have to take Irene back to the vet this morning. She has to fast, which means Lucille has to fast too. They don't understand why they can't have their morning snacks. DH is going to pick up Irene mid-day. I roasted a chicken last night - I think it's one of my favorite things in the world. Lynn, I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather! I think it's going to actually be hot this week - in the 80s. Happy Monday everyone!

Hi all,
Needless to say we had fun yesterday having DD's family here. I think I mentioned before that they will be moving back to IN when school is out in May. Actually they are closing this afternoon on their new home here this afternoon and DSIL will start working back here in 6 weeks. Anyway they drove their car plus a small moving truck loaded with enough stuff that DSIL can stay there for the month or so before they all come back. It will be a very hectic week for them. We are keeping the boys with us all day today so no decluttering for me, I might actually try a small closet off the kitchen.
We were awakened by a thunder storm this morning but the sun is trying to shine now. I hope it clears off.
BBL, Peg

Good morning all!
Maryenne, that must be difficult in dealing with Irene and Lucille. They're going to be really hungry this afternoon!
Peg, I know you are going to enjoy having DD and family back near you. Happy for you! Wish I lived closer to mine, but I won't complain as I'm much closer to mine than many, many grandparents find themselves these days. The days of entire families living in the same area for generations are long past us.
Lynn, how's the trip to Florida going? Hope you are having a lot of fun.
Esther, are you still doing any taxes? I'm only doing family, and those are completed.
Janice, hope all is well for you.
We had some local excitement for a few hours this morning, as the hospital had to be locked down due to a suspicious person on the premises and his making a bomb threat. SWAT, fire department, etc. all on scene. Emergencies being directed to other hospitals, with triage being performed at a fire station for those who couldn't make it that far without intervention. Got a text from the city a few minutes ago saying hospital is resuming normal operations, so they must have caught the guy. Don't know any details, but will be watching the news to find out. Scary, and I felt really badly for all those patients, families, and staff.

Good Monday to all
We have warm, sunny weather here in the 40's. I am hoping it will melt enough for me to finally get all the snow and ice out from in front of the house. It is officially spring and I have had it with snow and ice underfoot.
Joyce - I am still doing a few family members' taxes with two more to complete before I am done for this year, waiting for information on them. One is DGS's girlfriend which I have not done before. I will be relieved when they are finished.
Time to go practice and walk the dog.
Lynn - I hope you are enjoying your FL trip.

Good afternoon friends. It is 80 degrees here in Naples. We got into town around 7:30 last night. We had a great visit with our friends up outside of Clearwater yesterday. Today DH and I rode around the area, picked up some groceries and went to the post office. DSiL had a doctor's appointment. Esther, I hope the snow and ice leave fast! I am also done with winter! Peg, have fun with the boys today! Maryenne, hope there are no "cat"ostrophies with Irene and Lucille today. Joyce, that must have been a scary situation for everyone at the hospital. I especially feel for the patients and their families at a stressful time. At least the hospital workers have a working knowledge of how they are trained to handle these incidents. But there is nothing that prepares them for an actual incident. How are things with you Janice? Have a great day. Lynn
