Good morning and happy day to you all,
After a somewhat lazy weekend, I woke up feeling very well this morning. I did clean the kitchen floor and wash the throw rugs - they are still hanging outside. We put out our hummingbird feeders - we usually start seeing them around St. Patrick's Day but haven't seen any yet. DH cooked burgers last night because he said he was so tired of chicken - which we had all of last week.
I've got a few meetings today and some catching up to do from being out of the office Thursday and Friday. There is a meditation class at my yoga center that I might go to after work. Overall, it should be a light week. DH is taking his friend Al down to Gainesville tomorrow for some procedure at the VA. It should be just a one-day trip - about a 3 hour drive.

Hi all,
Yesterday I did all of the laundry after DD's stay...something like 4 loads for them and another couple for us. We made our usual trip to Target after lunch at McAlister's. Also we took our daily drive to our new house....no work done being a Sunday but the worksite was swept and cleaned up quite a bit. We did some measuring even though we have all of the dimensions on the floor plans. It is getting easier to see where furniture may fit or may not.
Today I will be working like a fool as the painters arrive Wednesday and will be here through Friday. They will move furniture but all pictures have to be taken down and boxed as we won't rehang them in prep for staging as well as moving. DH has a book case that he sorted out stuff to pitch but that stack is maybe 12" tall while the book case has three shelves and is about 2 1/2' wide. So I get to make several trips upstairs with books. At least I have a really good carrying bag that is good for heavy stuff. Curtains and rods also have to come down. Hopefully I will have time to wash the windows in the four rooms they are painting also. You may ask what DH is doing through all of this......replacing some rotten wood around the back door and he very rarely touches anything inside the house...just the way he is.
Well ladies have an awesome Monday and remember to shine bright on your parade. It makes the day a whole lot more fun.

Good morning all.
Yesterday we went to an outdoor market with dozens of stalls and a wide assortment of produce. We bought tomatoes, tiny bananas, peppers and jicama. It was a lovely ride out to the market. Today we are going to downtown Naples to do some "touristy" things. We leave for New England tomorrow. I have enjoyed the warm weather, not looking forward to the cold again.
Maryenne, enjoy your yoga class. I find that meditation relaxes me, I know that there are different types of meditation. I have tried a few of them on-line.
Peg, your move is starting to shape up! Are you hiring someone for the staging?

Good morning all! Maryenne, it's nice that you are looking forward to a slower week at work. Gives you time to catch your breath.  The meditation session sounds good. Peg, you are SO busy! Lots of work to get done, but it will be so much fun to be in your new house. Will most of your furniture fit well, or will you need to get some new pieces? Lynn, I know you have enjoyed your time in FL. Have safe travel going back home. I would expect that this is a great time of year to visit FL and leave the cold weather of the northeast. Esther and Janice, hope you are both looking forward to a good day. Nothing special going on here. My car AC is giving me some issues. So DH took it to the repair shop this morning. It's getting to the time that AC is an essential in my part of the world. Waving to everyone! |

Hello and happy Monday to all
My alarm didn't turn on this morning so I missed services. That was a disconcerting start to the day. So far all I have done is practice and do my stretching exercises. Those are important anyway.
I need to let our landscaper go, not a pleasant task. We need someone who will do more work.
The dog is shedding like mad even though it is still cold. I need to brush her and take her for a long walk.
Lynn have a good trip home. Bring us some warm weather.
