Good morning all,
Lynn, will you go to Fernandina Beach while you are at Amelia Island? It's a lovely little village with b&b's, shops, restaurants, and a big Spanish fort. I'm thinking it's on the northern end of Amelia. I love that area.
I have another quiet day today with just one meeting and then yoga after work.

Good Morning
The week is going so fast! Sunday I went to a Bluegrass Jam at a small town nearby. It was really enjoyable - four groups and each did a one hour set. This Saturday there is a festival with seven hours of bluegrass - however, it is outdoors and the weather may not be so great. This is a celebration of the Santa Fe Trail and at a town along the route. I have heard most of the groups before so it will be good.
Tonight I will go to the gym after work. Need to pick up the pace on that!

Good morning all.
DH and I had an enjoyable time in Daytona, visiting some places we had been to years ago. His grandfather used to race motorcycles there, back when they raced on the beach! DH's mother and father lived there for a while when he was in the navy and going to school there.
Our Amelia Island plans are postponed for another trip due to some family medical issues on their end.
We are heading to Virginia. We will stay in Emporia tonight and head inland for a bit to go through PA. Then on to MA for a couple of days before heading back to RI.
It sounds like everyone is up to the usual.
Esther, I can relate to the philosophy of having what other people pray for.
Peg, do you have plans if your current home sells before the new one is ready?
Janice, the blue grass festival sounds like fun!
Joyce, the classes sound interesting. The information will add to your understanding of what is going on with your mother. Hugs to you!

Hello everyone
I had the MRI this morning, a little scary being in that tube with the noisy banging going on. I am glad it is over. I will find out the results in a few days.
Joyce - I am glad your mother is doing better. It really is a day by day process, isn't it? The classes sound helpful. I hope they are useful.
Janice - Enjoy the blue grass festival if you go.
Peg - The house building sounds very quick. I hope it comes out as you want it to.
Lynn - Enjoy your trip. We actually have sunshine this afternoon. Maybe you will come home to good weather.

Good afternoon friends,
Painters arrived this mornings and are making progress. Getting everything ready was quite an undertaking but we made it! Hurray! Now I am moving pretty slow today but working on small jobs that need t be done. I have our room basically staged, swapped out some family pictures and put generic things on our shelves. This afternoon I want to get some things boxed and put into the storage closet and work on staging one of the guest closets. My aspirations my be too high.
Lynn, no we don't have any real idea as to what we will do if this house sells quickly and the new owners aren't able to be flexible.
it sounds like everyone is very busy and have full days planned.
