Good morning all -
I am feeling much better this morning, although the antibiotics do upset my digestive system a bit. I have a relatively light day at work and lunch with a former co-worker who retired a couple of months ago. I need to stop at CVS for a few items either at lunch or on the way home.
Joyce, I'm so glad things are calm and that you were able to treat yourself yesterday. Peg, we all love the updates on your current house and new house! Lynn, are you feeling more "at home" after your trip to Florida? Esther, Janice, and Joan - big hugs to you all!
Hope everyone has a good day with good weather!

Good morning everyone,
Well our house now has a for sale sign in front of it. Our agent thinks we will get full price for it. If so it would be $14,000 over what our neighbors sold their house for a year ago....only time will tell on that one. Hopefully we will have some showings today and this weekend. We did go out for dinner to celebrate last night and really enjoyed a special meal. We are both just exhausted and slept really well last night.
Today will be lunch with our usual group then we have to go pick out the stone/brick for our new house. We got the lighting quote yesterday and if there is time I want to swing by there and look at the lighting again. The quote includes pictures which is great but I want to see them in person again and ask a couple of questions.
Maryenne, so glad you are feeling better. Aren't you traveling to Tampa next week?
Esther, do you know when you will get your MRI results?
Joyce, any plans to see DGKs again? I think we will be going to Omaha the weekend after Easter, maybe our last trip out there before they move back after Memorial Day weekend.
Lynn, glad you enjoyed the author's presentation earlier this week. When does your cooking club meet again? Have you chosen the dish you will share?
Janice, enjoy a glass of wine for me tonight.
Peg

Good Morning
Friday - it has been quite a week - finishing up tax information and starting quarterly reports at work. So glad my co-workers are easy to work with and we can work fast and hard, and still get in a few laughs during the day.
After 14 straight days with rain each day (a tie breaker from more than 100 years ago) we are now having a couple sunny days. We did need the rain but my it was dreary
Glad you are feeling better Maryenne. Hope you can rest up over the weekend. Love hearing about the house, Peg. Esther, I have always been a bit afraid of a homeowners association - I know you have had to work extra hard on your housing situation. Waving to all.
Going to a wine pairing class tomorrow afternoon and a bluegrass/folk concert in the evening. Hummm - seems wine and music are taking over!
Have a good weekend.
Janice

Good morning everyone! It's a bright, sunny day here but much cooler than it has been for a few days. That's to be expected this time of year though.
Love reading all your posts, and hearing about the things going on in your lives. This is such an active group!
Peg, to answer your question, not sure when I will see the DGKs again. Probably not for a couple of weeks. DD is actually in Chicago right now at a conference for her work, and will be until Monday. Weekend conferences are something new they are trying, and she's not very pleased about that as she misses the time with the kids. I expect she's not the only one who would prefer not over a weekend, but it's a large national conference and through the federal government so it is what it is.
Nothing special planned here today, but there is always the usual household tasks to be completed. Hope you all have a lovely day, and waving to all who stop by later.

Good morning friends. We are back in our normal routine. I love to travel but love returning home at the end. We are off to Cape Cod for a couple of days and back to MA for a couple of days mid-week. Back to RI for a wedding and then to NH in a couple of weeks. Janice, it's great to have a cohesive working environment. And wine and music on the weekend! Peg, hard to believe that you will be in your new house in less than three months! How long have you lived in your present house? Maryenne- happy Friday! Joyce, I sympathize with your daughter about the weekend conferences. Hopefully she doesn't have too many of them. Esther, prayers for an MRI reading that will help your doctors figure something out to relieve your pain. Have a great weekend! Lynn
