Good morning!
I'm packing this morning to drive to Tampa this afternoon - about a 4-hour drive. Fortunately a colleague is riding down with me so I'm happy to have company. DH has to drive me to my building to pick up a state car and then I'll go pick her up and we'll be on the road. Returning Wednesday morning in time for a 1:30 meeting at work.

I did it again....didn't see Maryenne's thread....so here is my post
Good morning all,
We had two showings of the house yesterday and the one for today was just cancelled as the woman became ill. Hopefully that means we can have a totally relaxing day.....sure hope so as at is what I really need. Actually I need time to wash the five windows on the front of the house, I am exhausted! We finalized our flooring order yesterday and will finalize our lighting tomorrow morning. I thought we had our cabinets finalized but the guy emailed some changes yesterday because of his latest measurements and that raised some questions that he hasn't had time to answer yet.
I hope to do as little as possible today! Hope everyone has a great Palm Sunday!

Peg, you are doing great with the house, but all those decisions to be made would really be stressing me out. I've never tried to build, and can definitely see the appeal in getting just what you want rather than having to adapt to an already built house. Still the stress would be a lot. I'm sure your new house will be beautiful, but I expect you will be very glad when the building phase is behind you.
Lynn, Esther, and Janice hope all is going well for each of you.
Nothing special is going on here, and that's a good thing. Step-son #2 and family are coming for lunch today.

I found my brother sitting up and eating a good breakfast this morning. That is a big change. He has been too weak to sit up for the past few days. It looks like he is going to recover.

Good afternoon friends.
We had a great but brief trip to the Cape. The sun has finally returned! My daffodils and hyacinths are up, it looks like spring has arrived! Next on my agenda is finding and washing the humming bird feeders. I may add a couple more this year. Then begins the weekly routine of cleaning and filling the feeders. They are my late afternoon entertainment, I sit on the deck and watch them. They are quite entertaining.
Safe travels Maryenne. It's nice that you have company for the drive.

Joyce, enjoy your family visit.
Esther, I am glad that your brother is recovering. I know you worry about him so much!
