Good morning everyone,
Maryenne, hope you had a safe trip yesterday and your presentation goes well. Enjoy your time away from the daily work grind.
Today is going to be wrapped around decisions for the new house. We will be finalizing our lighting later this morning followed with a stop at the cabinet store. Both bathrooms are oversized but they still only want to give me 3" between the sinks and side walls. I want 6" or 7"...room for blow drier without worrying about it falling into a wet sink. We have a showing scheduled for 10:30 tomorrow morning and it is time to do a light dusting and vacuuming. I still really want to get the front windows washed.
I didn't do much physically around the house yesterday and I actually cooked dinner last night. It felt good!
What is everyone up to this Monday! Whatever you do remember to have some fun and shine bright on your own parade if need be!

Good Morning!
Wow, decisions, decisions, Peg. I'm sure you know what you want and why so it can be frustrating if it doesn't look like it is going your way! I have moved a lot and I have always thought if I could combine all the best of each house, what a place it would be!!
I went to opening day of Farmer's Market Saturday. Got some fresh organic beets - yum. Quite an increase in the number of local meat producers - pork, beef, chicken, turkey, etc. Heritage breeds, no growth hormones, antibiotics, etc. And such passion among the young producers. There was local kombucha, honey, many baked goods along with wood crafts, quilting items, etc. Always a fun start to the weekend.
Wine pairing event Saturday afternoon - not exactly what I expected but fun for sure. Local winery and they compared their wines with well known California wines - and served little food samples and we were told to sip, eat, and then sip again to see how the wine changed with the food. The place is in the country and has a wood fired pizza oven on the patio so our last sample was merlot with pizza. After the event, the fellow tending the wood fired oven, sat down with a guitar and the singing began, all were invited to stay as long as they wished.
Went to a concert with a local bluegrass band and a folk group. Always a good time. It is held at a downtown theatre that is being renovated back to its former glory. A multi million dollar project and fun to see the progress each time.
Got some yard work done - really felt how out of shape I am - hope to be able to build back up. See the rheumatologist later this month.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend and are starting the week with lots of energy and good vibes!
Janice

Good morning friends. Peg and Janice, I am tired just reading both of your posts! Today I am setting up the hummingbird feeders. I hope to get to some yard work. I need to cut the grapes back along the front fence. And get the containers ready for the plants in a few weeks. My Easter cactus is about ready to bloom. Gorgeous orange flowers! Have a great day! Good morning everyone!
I agree with Lynn, that Peg and Janice are both so busy! It sounds like so much fun though. Picking out the perfect new items for a new house, and Janice your weekend was spectacular. It made me smile just reading about it.
It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day here. Usually we have some cold, wet weather around Easter but it looks like this year is going to be different. Makes me want to get busy and fill the flower boxes, but not sure it isn't still too early.
Maryenne, wishing you a good conference.
Esther, hope you have a lovely day and that your brother continues to improve.

Hello friends
I am headed out to the first Seder with some friends tonight.
My brother is getting stronger. I think he is going to recover. He has become hard of hearing, a new development. I asked them to check his ears. I am tired from running back and forth. It makes me think of Joyce and her parents. I need to do the best I can for my brother.
Thursday I have another test to see what is going on with me.
Have a good day everyone I
