Good morning friends,
The house showing went well yesterday in fact the guy is going to bring dad to see it tomorrow afternoon. Our agent says dad would actually be the one buying the property and he would be using cash.....hum... kind of makes you wonder if it will be used for the son while he is attending the university along with lots of friends. My fear too is that dad will just try to low ball the purchase price. We've decided not to accept a low ball as it has only been on the market for a week. I will keep you all posted.
We had a lot of fun last night having dinner with friends. Today DH is having lunch with a friend while I will be joining our usual lunch group. Otherwise the day will be quiet......sounds restful to me. Hopefully it will be warm enough that I will be able to sit out on the deck......sounds like a wonderful idea.
Esther, I hope your brother continues to improve.
Joyce, it sounds like you are having a quiet week, too. Enjoy!
Lynn, are you having a family gathering of any kind this weekend?
Janice, will you have any extra time off from work on Friday?
Maryenne, safe drive home and will you have any extra time off work on Friday?
I remember back in the day that virtually everything was closed on Good Friday afternoon to allow people to attend church services.....sad that practice has pretty much disappeared.
Happy Hump Day everyone!
Peg

Good morning friends. Peg, we have our neighbor's wedding on Saturday, but that is our big plan for the weekend. DH is still a bit under the weather so we will lay low. We are headed t MA for a couple of days. We want to see the progress on the porch. Also get a few things done in the yard. Happy hump day! Lynn

Good morning everyone
I went to the Passover seder at the synagogue last night. We had 55 people including a couple of screaming babies. I left early and went home to bed.
My brother is improving. He may go to a place for recuperating people, a transition between the hospital and the community. The homeless outreach team has a place for him to move to, but he doesn't want to go there. It is in an area of the city that he does not know. The rabbi is going to visit him with me tomorrow to see if he can help.
I am going to do some bookkeeping work for a former client, then a Council on Aging meeting, then to the hospital for a visit. It will be a long day. I am getting tired. I will be glad when he is out of the hospital and settled down. That may take a while since he resists all suggestions.
Have a good hump day everyone

Good morning everyone!
We had heavy rain last night, but this morning the sun is shining brightly and the birds are singing. DH is at the most recent rental for the workman to finish the final last touches in the renovated laundry room.
Peg, here's hoping the father comes with a full price offer for you. Do you know if the son is university age? Is he single or married? It's hard to let go of our home to strangers sometimes, even when we ourselves are moving forward.
Maryenne, hope your meeting went well and wishing you safe travels home.
Lynn, hope your DH feels better soon. There is a lot of respiratory stuff going around here with all the pollen in the air. Enjoy your time in MA.
Esther, my heart goes out to you as you deal with your brother's situation. That must be so very hard. Sending prayers for both you and your brother.
Janice, waving hello to you.
Did anyone ever hear anything from Michelynn?
While DH is away today I have paperwork to get caught up on, and want to run a few errands. If there's time I want to make a trip to Sam's to pick up some things I like to keep in the freezer. I always try to go during the week as opposed to a weekend so it won't be as crowded.
Have a great day!
