Good morning and here we are back at Monday Peg, good luck with your showing today. It seems as though you are having them pretty regularly so far. Joyce, sounds like you had a nice family-oriented weekend. Lynn, sounds like the wedding was lovely! Janice and Esther, hope your weekend was nice as well. I was pretty lazy yesterday, although I did clean the bathrooms and cook dinner. I should have gone grocery-shopping but my regular store was closed for Easter. I'll go tonight after work if DH doesn't drag himself out today. Today I have my regular cardiology appointment, with meetings before and after. Hope you all have a great Monday! Maryenne

Good morning Maryenne and ATF,
Maryenne, I don't remember if anyone has ever asked about your name. I've never known anyone with your name. Is it a family name?? Or a combination of two?? So glad you got some down time yesterday. You deserve it.
I am looking forward to a quiet afternoon around here. Since the house will all be clean, laundry done, and the sun is supposed to be shining I hope to sit on the deck and sit some more. I know I sound very lazy but I think I am ready. LOL
I hope everyone had a meaningful Easter! Waving to,everyone,
Peg

Good morning friends
Peg - You have been working so hard recently. You deserve some rest.
Maryenne - I hope your appointment goes well.
I am finally going to be able to visit my brother in the new hospital today. I can't drive there because of all the road closures for the Boston Marathon. So it will be a long journey on public transportation. I am not walking too well so it will be a difficult trip. I hope my brother is recuperating well.pp

Good morning! Maryenne, glad you had a restful weekend. You needed some "down" time. Peg, you need some rest as well as you've been very busy with selling and building all at the same time, so hope you enjoy sitting out on your deck this afternoon. Esther, hoping your visit with your brother will go well. Sorry you will have a difficult time getting there. You are such a good sister. Will be thinking of you. My brother, my only sibling, died at 15, and I know how much I still miss him. Lynn and Janice, hope you both had a lovely Easter and are off to a good week. Our Easter was quiet but good. My mom did eat, in fact ate more than she has in months. That was good to see. I'm not sure why she won't eat as they do have good food at the AL, but she just refuses. So I've stopped trying to coax her. I do bring some sort of "treat" almost every day. That's not very nutritious, but it is some calories and I keep her stocked with Ensure. Anyway, it was good to see her eat yesterday. My dad enjoyed the meal also, but he's always had a good appetite even when he's in the hospital he doesn't normally lose his appetite. They both tired pretty quickly, and were ready to go back "home" and rest sooner than I had anticipated but that was fine too. At least they had a good outing. The AL has a van that takes residents out on drives, to the Dairy Queen, etc. two or three times a month, but so far my mom and dad have not wanted to participate in that. They have started to go to the Sunday church services there on site, however, so I count that as a plus. Need to go to the bank and get some documents for my dad notarized today as his POA. Other than that, it will be a quiet day.
