Good morning,
Peg, glad you had a restful day yesterday after all your hard work. Do you have a showing today? Joyce, I'm sure your parents had a wonderful Easter at your home and are doing so well at AL. Esther, I hope your visit with your brother went well. As Joyce said, you are a good sister to him. Hope you can rest today.
I just have a regular work day today, no meetings in the morning so catching up on calls and desk work. We had a retirement party yesterday and I ate too much cake. Usually, they have big retirement parties down in the cafeteria, but this person wanted a quiet one with just our office, so we sat around listening to him reminisce about the old days. His last day is Thursday, and he is very much looking forward to playtime with his two grandchildren.
I saw my cardiologist yesterday - I'm fine, but I still have to stay on the statins, blood thinners, and aspirin for the time being. He said maybe he would reduce them when I come back in 6 months - he pays close attention to all the new research. I told him I get short of breath on inclines, and he said "Oh, we all do. Don't worry about that." So I guess I won't!
Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Good morning all,
Rise and shine, we sold our house!! We got $5000 less than full price but no more showings!! Hurray!! They are not asking for any closing cost assistance. Moving here from D.C. We've set a new high selling price for the neighborhood. Can you tell I am excited and happy?? We will close on the sale probably two weeks before ours is finished.......time will tell how the transition will all work out.
I did just sit on our deck yesterday afternoon and completed an adult dot-to-dot using colored pencils. It was fun! And totally relaxing!
This is a day to celebrate. Let the sun shine on your parade....waving to everyone!

Good Morning
Peg, so glad you have a contract on the house. Now you can relax a bit!
Oh Esther - hope your trip to visit your brother went well. What dedication you are showing.
Busy times at work. I got all tangled up in reconciling an account - had to trace all activity back a couple months and make corrections. Tedious but needs to be done and I did get it finished. The last half of the month brings in the revenue checks for the oil wells I keep track of - close to 700 of them. Had division orders on 13 new ones come in yesterday - it takes a lot of time to review those and get entered into the system, so I am somewhat overwhelmed this week. And, tensions were high as tax returns were getting finished up and the mail brought corrected 1099s from brokers.
Have a good day and enjoy whatever you are doing

Good morning everyone!
Congratulations Peg! That's wonderful news about the sale of your house, and I know this will relieve a lot of stress for you.
Maryenne, glad you got a good report from your cardiologist. It's good that your doctor is thorough and pays attention to new research.
Janice, I suspect you will be glad when this day is over and tax returns are finished, at least except those who got an extension until October. You'll have some breathing room for them. Keeping track of almost 700 oil wells is a lot! It must really keep you busy, especially at tax time.
Esther, hope the visit with your brother went well and you found him improving.
Lynn, is your DH feeling better?
I was scheduled to have outpatient surgery to remove a cyst on my leg this morning (nothing major), but the Dr's office called and rescheduled me for the afternoon because the Dr had been called in for an emergency aneurysm on a patient. Hoping all goes well for that patient, and while I would have liked to get my little issue taken care of earlier in the day I can certainly wait.
Have a lovely day!
