I have to keep reminding myself that there is a difference between indulgence and treating myself well. Yesterday I overindulged. I do have meals planned for the week. My goal is if it is not planned for then it doesn't go in my mouth. I can do this for one week.

WOW my second Covid 19 vaccine kicked my butt , I was just hecka tired, plus stuff happened . I did not gain, I stayed the same, thank goodness for routines and habits .

Last night I was lying in bed, thinking, "I should go downstairs and get a snack!" What kind of thinking is that? Luckily, I was able to ignore those thoughts and I was happy to have done so this morning.
I've been sticking with the daily weighing and so far my head has not exploded.

Tips are back! Tuesday Reality Check: Remember, avoiding the scale has never gotten you to where you want to be. It’s important to prove to yourself that you face the consequences and get on the scale even when you don’t want to. Doing so may help hold you more accountable because you’ll know that you won’t let yourself stick your head in the sand. Wednesday Sabotage: I don’t want to work on healthy eating right now because I just don’t feel like thinking about it. Response: Either way I’m going to think about it. When I’m off track, I spend time thinking about needing to get back on track and feeling guilty about my eating. There’s no such thing as ‘not thinking about it.

I don’t have an issue on stepping on the scale daily since the numbers are lower and coming down.
And I agree about thinking about food and esting clean all the time, whether I do it or not.
Food is mostly planned for the day on DPs.
Exercise is TBD since I got my Covid vaccine yesterday and my arm hurts.

I have been going over my calorie plan more days than not, but so far no negative effects. I will keep it the same nonetheless, espcially since I have a vacation coming up and tracking will be a crap shoot.

I have been weighing daily since last week and I feel that it has been helpful. Where sometimes I didn't want to step on the scale because I was afraid that I gained, it is better to step on it each day.
This has also been my downfall in the past, when there has been weight creep, I have avoided the scale and put my head in the sand. It is not a coping strategy that I suggest and am trying to break, once and for all.

I had a great on plan day. I didn’t get in as much exercise as I would have liked but I’m not going to let that cloud the other good things that happened today.
I have tomorrow off from work and I am looking forward to doing some quality things and spending some time recharging and taking care of myself.

Eating out of control does not feel good to me any longer. I will celebrate the weekend in different ways that are healthier and will move me towards my goals.
