Improving my steps each day. Slow but steady.

Total Fail on my part. Does driving 100 miles a day and lifting 50 pound dogs all day count?

It's been going well for me. The pandemic has really helped me establish an exercise habit. Plus there has been a lot of yard work this spring due to the rain we've had. Things are looking a bit better now but if we keep getting rain, weeds will keep sprouting. That doesn't add a lot of steps but it adds spontaneous flexibility and active time. Or so my Fitbit tells me. We live on a hill so most of the walking around is up and down hill.
I've added Pilates to my routine recently and have noticed a improvement in my abdominal strength. I can now do a roll-up without a jerk and I was able to get my knees to touch my cheeks when curled up the other day. Hip flexibility still needs work.
I do a lot of spontaneous going up and down stairs. I don't wait to take things up or down stairs. I just take them then and there.

This is my nemesis. I had done really well up until last week - then nothing. Haven’t walked haven’t done yoga. I was home and could have swam. Nothing. I’m writing a couple cards in this one!

I'm firmly in the exercise grove and have been for quite some time now. When I take a break, I feel lousy so that's my incentive to get back at it. I don't do a lot of hard stuff but walking, zumba, swimming and yoga work. I know at my age I should be lifting but every time I try it I wreck my shoulder(s).
