We took the dog to have his stitches removed during my lunch break. Good news, his preliminary results do not show cancer. He’s been doing really well, and his energy is even better than before. We are so relieved. Today should be a no spender.

Water wars are going to be interesting to watch. I might be totally making this up and I'm too lazy to google but didn't they make water a tradable commodity just a couple of years ago? It seems like I remember a few people sounding the alarm bells about the change but the media was like oh, nothing to see here. Now I guess I need to google to make sure I'm talking out of my ***. I'm probably using all of the wrong words for what happened.

My cleaning out the deep freezer plan is going too good. Other than venison, I only have 17 fresh items in there. I had 75+ at one time. On one hand it feels good but on the other I feel like I should have at least 30 items in there.

I'm still downsizing everything when it comes to my preps. I'm shooting for a 3 month supply of food, toiletries and paper products instead of the 6-infinity supply I created during Covid. I'm thankful for my strict rotation system which allowed me to use everything except a few items that got freezer burnt. Seafood is not a something I should freeze for 6 months. RIP freezer burnt shrimp!

I found it and I was right. Water is now considered a commodity and no longer a resource. This is from August of 2021....

So ex had pop thanksgiving week cause I worked every day.
He also got his other DD from Louisiana. So they went to Houston to visit him mom whatever everything is fine.

They come back and he invites some chick over and completely ignores them for the rest of the time.
He’s cuddling on the couch with this chick and they’re going out and whatever.

The girls start complaining about it and call me and hers mom. So the moms are pissed. I’m stuck at work or I’d have gone to get her. So I told her to have her dad drop her off at my job and she’s like what about the other kid , she didn’t wanna leave her. I said bring her ass too. She didn’t wanna go to my job so I told her to drop them off at ODs.

So the other mom heard all that and said fuck it I’m coming to get you both.
From Louisiana !! At 10pm. It’s a six hour drive.

So homegirl jumps in her car with her other kids and lady fiancé and drives here and picks them up and there’s a big ole scene at exes house 🤣
Then he didn’t wanna let her take pop and the mom begged him to let pop leave wit her ( she hated me when we were married probly because he probly cheated on her with me. Ol lyin ass) .. so he’s tryna talk to pop and pop is being a bratty teenager about it all and he said fuck it ! Fine ! Bye !
And went inside and never called pop again.
So pops all pissed and saying she doesn’t have a dad anymore and blah blah. And he wasn’t making any communication with her. 😒like what a piece of shit.

So pop tells me any time she goes with him all he does is leave her in the house all day and go ride his motorcycle and go places with these chicks. She said there’s a different ho there every time she goes.

Anywyas so weeks go by so I text him to talk to pop cause wtf are you even doing asshole. Then he finally contacts her. But wtf.
How long was he gonna wait 🤷🏻‍♀️ forever ?

With us spending so much time at the hunting house it's become too much. Even with rotating and eating nearly every meal at home, I don't have time to go through it like I used to so items were getting freezer burnt and too close to the expiration dates for my liking.

I wanted to get it under control before I had to come face to face with wasteful food spending. It's one of the reasons I didn't buy any meat for multiple months last year. I had to force myself to work through what I had before I allowed myself to buy anything new at all. It's been a long, drawn out process but I'm actually getting to where I want to be.

I was out of eggs and had a coupon from Kroger for a FREE 18-count carton of eggs. Spent $11.33, with savings of $10.59. I considered asking the armed security guard to escort me to my car, just in case someone had ideas about hijacking my eggs.

Spent $12 at Publix, including 2 Valentine cards that were BOGO.

Speaking of eggs, I'm going to walk out to the coop to see if today is the day for the first egg of the year. They sunned all day yesterday in 60 degree weather. That should get the motor running.
