I'm still kind of all over the place. Yesterday, I at good, healthy food and tracked it. I tried the linguine shaped hearts of palm "pasta" mixed in w my roasted eggplant/marinara concoction. It wasn't bad, and actually seemed pasta-esque.

I wanted to start exercising yesterday but got caught up in other stuff and plain forgot! That's what happens when you take time off from exercising. Today, unfortunately, I'll be out in the garden again and I don't want to do too much all at once. I'm going to try and get in a stretching session.

A woman on the WW proboard had her physical. Her BMI was 21.4. Her doctor thought it was too low based on her age - she is 70 something. Apparently a "good" BMI for the over 70 set is 25-27. However, this is based on the assumption that one is losing muscle mass. I will turn 70 this year. A good reminder to keep up with strength training.

I hear you about the lo-mo yesterday, ermabom. We had bad air quality yesterday, and again today. Sigh. I'm keeping up with my fitness challenge, and that's about it right now.

lani, we are very close in age I'll turn 70 next year. Just had a birthday. I haven't gained weight in the last few years but OMG has it settled in my stomach and it's huge. Trying to love it and be kind to myself anyway. I had a recent physical and I've shrunk another inch so I've lost 2 in and I'm down to 5 ft. I am one of those little old ladies now. I don't feel it though; my brain thinks it's 16 maybe 20. I am kind of immature. 😃🤣😊 Here. Read ARC and a few more cards. Daily WI down 0.2. Weekly WI up 0.6. I am back and ready to begin again. I've not been here for 5 weeks. In the meantime I've gone to Juneau Alaska to do my best to support my brother who is ill with lung disease and late stage alcoholism and possibly cancer. I've been engaged in supporting him (not financially) the last 4 years . Came home and doing my best to get back into MY life. Been home 2 weeks. I've been doing some binging emotional eating which has not been a go-to with the help of Beck the last few years. I'm back here a day at a time. Slowly ease my way back in. Need to work on no eating while standing the next few days.

Did some emotional munching yesterday. I am being gentle with myself at this emotionally challenging time. In addition to my ill brother I locally have a friend who's on hospice. I see her once a week and the deterioration yesterday was startling.
I will pull out Diet Trap Solution and reread the chapter on Emotional Eating Traps.
