I don't feel it though; my brain thinks it's 16 maybe 20. I am kind of immature. 😃🤣😊 Ain't it the truth? Speaking of truth, I had a facelift on 7/13. I know, so vain. I really, really tried to accept my aging face, but I couldn't do it. Anyway, it went well, still plenty of swelling, pain was never that bad. Probably a month before I will start to see the final results. One of the surgeons said the swelling will go down slowly because of YOUR AGE. Yes, I know my age. He helpfully added, you're not 20. Yep if I were I wouldn't be having a blooming facelift, would I? No, they were super skilled and had fantastic bedside manner. Two docs operating at once. Can't beat it. So I have not been bothered with much Becking at this time. I have checked my weight a couple of times - I'm in maintenance mode - and I haven't gained or lost much. Staying in the desired range.

I am at quite a low weight right now. Not surprising as I really didn't have my normal appetite until a couple of days ago. Also, exercise is limited to walking and whatever stretching I can do. I idea is to keep the head above the heart. So I am sure I am losing muscle every frickin' day. Can't strength train until 4 weeks out. Can drink two weeks out. Just in time for Pizza Night next week!

Muscle loss doesn't occur that quickly lani. I went about a month without working out due to my fibromyalgia pain and the sinus infection. I just restarted my strength training and went down to the previous weights from the ones I was using. I have found them easy and will probably move back up to the weight I was using next time. Muscle loss doesn't occur that quickly Good to know. I must say I am surprised how my abs are holding up with zero work. Guess all those years of hitting them is paying off. Doc says I can drink 2 weeks after surgery. Just in time for pizza night! I am walking (around the house) for an hour a day, 1/2 hour morning and evening. I have been able to continue much of my stretching routine, and I can still stand on one foot for 30 seconds. That last is a bit dicey though. The left leg is always more stable. The right leg is the one that has had countless sprains, and a couple of breaks in the foot. I was complaining to my brother about it and he said his right leg is weaker also. Must be genetic? I am not bothering to track right now. I am sticking to my usual diet with a strong emphasis on Amy's Black Bean frozen Enchiladas. DH is clueless in the kitchen and I'm not up for cooking.

I am continuing to walk an hour a day, stretching. I forgot the balance exercises yesterday. Will do them today. I am still at a non-representative post-surgery weight, so I am not really doing any Beck behaviors other than weighing, and reading and posting in a couple of Beck threads.
Well, actually I am always sitting down to eat, and I am eating mindfully. So that's four BBs (Beck Behaviors).

But it wasn't that great and I think the whole meal was 1000 calories. Not worth it!
