DD usually watches the great grandchildren on Wednesdays. She’s on vacation so they will be with us for a while today while their mother works. I see a trip to Barnes and Noble and McDonald’s in the plans.

Good morning!
Our 4th was quiet, we did grill out but that's all. This morning my cleaning ladies will be here. Normally they would have been here yesterday, but the holiday threw them a day off schedule so they're coming a little earlier today than normal as I am sure they have another house to go to after me. After they leave I will probably go ahead and lay out the suitcases for packing although there won't be as much to pack as usual so no hurry. On a cruise you don't dare forget anything, but here in the states there's always WalMart if you left something at home making it much easier to pack, and I have plenty of time. Which is nice because I now hate having to rush about anything. Rushing around used to be the story of my life, but now I like a much slower pace.
One thing I do need to do today is get the book out and figure out how to add another couple of days to my sprinkler schedule. Now DH's just been watering with the hose on the days the sprinkler doesn't run, but I need to change that and in our household I seem to be the designated electronic guru. I have no idea why. Well actually that's not true. It's because I have more patience in figuring things out than he does and will actually read the manual. 🤣 Enjoy your day!

Good morning!
We did nothing yesterday because it rained all day. I was able to find enough leftovers for dinner. Today I'm going to the library for my new class, but I have a feeling no one will show up. Last week two students came, but one of them is out of town for a few weeks. Maybe the other one will come. John is going to go with me and then we're going to an Asian-fusion restaurant that he hasn't been to for a late lunch and after that, if it isn't raining, we might go down to Wakulla Springs and dip our feet in the nice cold water.
