Over 60 and Still Working/Wednesday

Poor mooselady12 was by herself yesterday. I have no idea why I didn't log in. I think I was recovering from my Jacksonville drive on Monday.

I have tutoring this morning with my regular student and then will grab some lunch and head to the downtown library. No one showed up last week...there may have been some confusion about the holiday. We'll see if anyone comes today.

DH is meeting with a guy from the county to discuss the condition of our road. It's a dirt road and it's a mess. Because it's a private road, we will have to pay the county to grade it and we'll have to buy the clay or rocks or whatever they decide to do. I love living out here, but the road is just bad.

Good morning!

maryenne , I hope the second class runs. I know you look forward to teaching.

We have a 1,000 foot long dirt driveway that leads out to the town road in RI. We have maintained it for years. Luckily we have aa small gravel bank and the equipment to maintain it, but it is a pain. At least you can get the county to pave it. The town won’t do that for us, even if we pay for it.

Time to pack up for the trek back to RI.

We have no water today since the town is fixing something. It will be good to get it back.
