Good morning friends!
I have an 8:30 dentist appointment. Usually when I have to go into town I combine the trip with errands, but not sure if I have any today. So I might just come home. It has rained here every day for days, but they say the rain will stop and it will just be hot.

Good morning everyone!
We are home and tired, but it was a good trip. We got home a little after 2:00 this morning. So I don't expect to get much accomplished today. We enjoyed the time in CA and visiting with DH's sister, and of course we always enjoy spending time in TX with step-son #1 and family. CA is beautiful as always, and Austin is blazing hot, hot, HOT! Now I need to research and find a good life alert system for my sister-in-law. She lives alone at 82. DH worries about her, and this will also help ease his mind. I don't think one of the smart watches would work for her, but I will look at those too. She is low income and would never get something for herself, but she did agree to let me do it after I told her it would make me happy to do something for her as DH's family since he did so much for mine. She's very proud, and so I was glad she agreed. In TX our GD had her 12th birthday party, a sleep over with 4 of her friends. All cute girls. First we all played mini golf (thankfully at an inside air conditioned course!), then came back home for pizza, swimming, and all the things 12 year old girls enjoy. Yesterday before the airport we took her for her annual shopping spree with us. She has discovered LuLu Lemon, so good thing it's once a year! 🤣 Now we are just glad to be back home and get back into our routine. Enjoy your day!

I start eye drops for my cataract surgery tomorrow morning. The first surgery is on Thursday.
