Esther, good to hear from you. I'm sure your cataract surgery will go well but we'll be thinking about you on Thursday.
Lynn, hope your day out goes well!
I've done the Wordl and finished one cup of coffee. I've got yoga at 9:30. It's the last class of this series and I'll sign up for the next one which will start later in August. I really love the teacher and the class...it's all women around my age.
On Thursday, I'm going to take my annual birthday trip to Buffalo. I think this will be the fourth or fifth time I've gone in July. James will take off work on Friday and he and I will go out for breakfast and then maybe a hike at a wonderful refuge. I'll come back on Wednesday next week.

Good morning! Maryenne, the birthday trip to Buffalo sounds great! I'm glad that in addition to the whole family you'll get to have some one-on-one time with James as well. We don't get that nearly enough with our grown children. Esther, I too will be thinking of you on Thursday with your cataract surgery. I hope you will find you see much better afterwards. When will you have the second eye done? Lynn, hope all is well with you and your family. I feel much better today after resting most of yesterday and getting a good night's sleep. It's amazing how much difference a good night's sleep can make! DH has decided he needs some new shorts. I've been telling him this since early spring, but he waits until the end of the season when it's harder to find sizes. LOL! Are all men this way or just mine?  Anyway we're going out to look about that this morning, and will get lunch out. I also need to stop by the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. Other than that we have no plans. It feels good to get back into our routine. Enjoy your day! |

Hello friends
I have put in the eye drops twice today and it wasn’t difficult at all. I’m now figuring out how to feed and walk the dog post surgery. I will not be able to bend at the waist to put her food down or lift anything heavy for a week. I’m hoping I can manage with the gripper tool I used after my hip surgeries.
Maryenne I hope you have a great visit in Buffalo.
