Over 60 and Still Working/Wednesday

Today is my busy day - two tutoring sessions, plus I agreed to grab lunch with someone in between. After all that, I need to stop at the store and then come home and pack.

Good morning!

We had a good day with our friends yesterday. After her eye appointment we drove by the place where she is having the surgery.
DH is driving her to the surgery, I will take her to the next day postoperative visit. We went out for lunch yesterday at Cabrerra’s. I had a delicious veggie ravioli dish.

We are heading out to the Berkshires in a few minutes. We’ll be back Saturday.

Sending wishes for uneventful surgery for Esther tomorrow, safe travels to maryenne tomorrow and waving to Joyce. Lynn

Maryenne, you do have a busy day scheduled. Have a wonderful trip to Buffalo!

Lynn, enjoy the Berkshires. It's really so nice that you have that "get away" so close to you and can enjoy it throughout the year.

Esther, my fingers are also crossed that all will go smoothly for you tomorrow and that your vision will be improved.

Usually July and August are the driest months of the year for us and find us begging for rain. So far that's definitely not true this year. It's been very wet. Yesterday evening we again had two strong storms come through with high winds and heavy rain. Today we have had some rain, and the sky is dark with the wind starting to blow so I think we'll be getting more of the same. Maybe it won't be as strong though, at least my fingers are crossed. DH has an appointment for a haircut this morning and then the dentist right after lunch. I have no plans but plenty that needs to be done to keep me busy. My problem seems to be finding the motivation to actually do it. Wishing you each a lovely day with blue skies and sunshine.
